RESUMO

A flexible one-pot strategy with pyramidal SeIV heteroatoms was employed for the assembly of the praseodymium-containing gly-decorated polyoxotungstate [{Pr3 (H2 O)10 [Se2 W22 O76 (gly)2 ]}2 (Se2 W7 O30 H2 )]18- (1 a), which is constructed from one {Se2 W7 O30 H2 } unit and two identical {Pr3 (H2 O)10 [Se2 W22 O76 (gly)2 ]} units. Furthermore, the catalytic performance of Cs2 Na4 H12 [{Pr3 (H2 O)10 [Se2 W22 O76 (gly)2 ]}2 (Se2 W7 O30 H2 )]⋅25 H2 O (1) for alkene epoxidation with hydrogen peroxide was investigated under mild reaction conditions, and the experimental results suggested that compound 1 exhibits good catalytic performance for the epoxidation of cyclooctene.

RESUMO

An unprecedented silicotungstate trimer K(9)[H(14){SiW(10)Mn(II)Mn(III)O(38)}(3)(CO(3))]·39H(2)O (1) has been successfully synthesized, in which the CO(3)(2-) resides inside the three Keggin {SiW(10)Mn(II)Mn(III)O(38)} units and the three O atoms serve as µ(2)-O atoms to connect with three Mn(III). Magnetic investigation indicates that 1 exhibits antiferromagnetic coupling.

RESUMO

An unprecedented arsenic-disubstituted Lindqvist-type peroxopolyoxoniobate Cs2.5Na2{As2Nb4(O2)4O14H1.5}·11H2O has been successfully synthesized and characterized. The photocatalytic activity of the cluster for H2 evolution from water is investigated by irradiating with a 300 W Xe lamp, which shows a certain photocatalytic water splitting activity.
