RESUMO

Morphology of the absorber plays a decisive role in photoelectric conversion efficiency (PCE) of kersterite solar cells. Cu2ZnSn(S,Se)4 (CZTSSe) grain prepared from dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO)-based solution easily grows into large grains, which can lead to the formation of some holes at the back of the absorber. These holes cause the recombination of photocarriers and greatly weaken the performance of CZTSSe devices. Here, trace amounts of thioglycolic acid (TGA) are introduced to the DMSO-based solution, and a combination of TGA and metal is formed in the absorber, leading to the formation of fine grains in the CZTSSe absorber. Next, post-annealing (PA) in a N2 atmosphere is performed to promote Na diffusion, helping the transition from a fine-grain layer to a low-resistivity carbon layer at the interface between CZTSSe and Mo and avoiding the drawbacks of the DMSO-based system. Finally, the champion PCE of the CZTSSe device can be improved to 10.05% from 8.06%. The conclusions demonstrate that the construction of a carbon layer can boost the performance of CZTSSe devices.

RESUMO

Fiber-shaped photodetectors (FPDs) have attracted special attention to wearable health monitoring due to their 3D absorption capabilities. However, the practical application of traditional FPDs is severely limited by the irreversible degradation of performance caused by vulnerable interface compatibility on complex deformation and a single function. Here, an integrated photoelectrochemical FPD/battery device (FPDB) is designed, consisting of a common electrode, photoanode, anode, and sol-gel electrolyte as an isolation layer, which not only effectively avoids the short circuit problem of FPD but also endows high-efficiency energy storage capacity. As expected, the resulting all-in-one triple-twisted fiber-shaped FPDB simultaneously achieves high responsiveness of 151.45 mA W-1 and excellent volume capacity of 18.75 mAh cm-3. Such a stable architectural design and multifunctional integration of functional fibers accelerate the development of next-generation wearable fabrics.

RESUMO

This study evaluated the efficacy and safety of three-dimensional printing model-assisted percutaneous transhepatic one-step biliary fistulation (PTOBF) combined with rigid choledochoscopy for intrahepatic bile duct stones in patients with type I bile duct classification. The clinical data of 63 patients with a type I intrahepatic bile duct were reviewed from January 2019 to January 2023; 30 patients who underwent 3D printed model-assisted PTOBF combined with rigid choledochoscopy composed the experimental group and 33 patients who underwent simple PTOBF combined with rigid choledochoscopy composed the control group. Six indicators, including one-stage operation time and clearance rate, final removal rate, bleeding volume, channel size and complications, were observed and analyzed in the two groups. The one-stage and final removal rate in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group (P = 0.034, P = 0.014 versus control group). The time of one-stage operation, bleeding volume, and incidence of complications in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.001, P = 0.039, P = 0.026 versus control group). Compared with simple PTOBF combined with rigid choledochoscopy, 3D printed model-assisted PTOBF combined with rigid choledochoscopy is a safer and more effective method for treating intrahepatic bile duct stones.

RESUMO

This study aimed to establish three-dimensional models of the biliary tract of Chinese people using the Hisense computer-aided surgery (CAS) system and to explore the branching patterns and variation types of the biliary system under the study of 3D reconstruction of the biliary tract. Three-dimensional models of the biliary tract were reconstructed in 50 patients using the Hisense CAS system. The branching patterns of intrahepatic bile ducts were observed. The biliary tract was classified according to the confluence of the right posterior sectoral duct (RPSD), right anterior sectoral duct (RASD) and left hepatic duct (LHD), and the presence or absence of accessory hepatic ducts. The 3D models of the bile ducts were successfully reconstructed in 50 Chinese patients. The branching patterns of the bile ducts were classified into seven types. The anatomy of the bile ducts was typical in 54% of cases (n = 27), showed triple confluence in 10% (n = 5), and crossover anomaly in 14% (n = 7), which means anomalous drainage of the RPSD into the LHD, anomalous drainage of the RPSD into the common hepatic duct (CHD) in 10% (n = 5), anomalous drainage of the RPSD into the cystic duct (CD) in 2% (n = 1), absence of left main hepatic duct in 1% (n = 1), presence of accessory duct in 8% (n = 4). Among them, there were three cases of accessory hepatic ducts coexisting with other variation types. By using the Hisense CAS system to establish 3D models of the biliary tract of the Chinese people, we established the branching model of the second-order bile ducts, which has important value for the classification of the biliary system and its variation types.

RESUMO

Objectives. In diverse working situations, the predictive effect of individual personality on job performance is not always the same. Thus, how to best understand and use personality in the workplace has been an important issue in recent years. Methods. Based on trait activation theory, the present study provides initial evidence from high-risk organizations (high-speed railway organizations) regarding interactionist effects of group-level characteristics on the relationship between individual personality (Big Five model) and safety performance (both safety compliance and safety participation). Data were obtained from a sample of high-speed rail operators from nine railway bureaus (N = 1012 from 86 working groups). Results. The results indicate that group conscientiousness, agreeableness and neuroticism enhance the relationship between individual personality and safety performance, while group openness weakens the relationship between individual personality and safety performance, and group extraversion has no effect on their relationship. Conclusion. These results suggest that high-risk organizations should focus not only on individual factors but also on the interactions between individual factors and group situations in individuals' safety performance.

RESUMO

Background: Amide proton transfer-weighted (ATPw) imaging is a novel MRI technique that has been used to identify benign and malignant tumors. The present study evaluated the role of APTw imaging in differentiating papillary thyroid carcinoma from predominantly solid adenomatous nodule. Methods: This study included 24 cases of solitary papillary thyroid carcinoma, and 20 cases of solid adenomatous nodules. Normal thyroid tissues were examined in 12 healthy subjects. The healthy subjects, eight cases of adenomatous nodule with cystic degeneration, and 12 cases of thyroid goiter, were only considered in the descriptive analysis, not included in our statistical analysis. The mean APTw value and the apparent diffusion coefficients (ADCs) of papillary thyroid carcinoma and solid adenomatous nodule were compared via a Mann-Whitney U test and receiver operating characteristic (ROC)-curve analyses. Results: The adenomatous nodule (3.3 ± 1.3%) exhibited significantly higher APTw value (p < 0.05) than that of the papillary thyroid carcinoma (1.8 ± 0.7%). The optimal cut-off value of the mean APTw value in differentiating papillary thyroid carcinoma from adenomatous nodule was 3.15%, with a sensitivity of 60% and a specificity of 100%. The mean ADC of papillary thyroid carcinoma (1.2 ± 0.2 × 10-3 mm2/s) was significantly lower than that of adenomatous nodule (2.0 ± 0.4 × 10-3 mm2/s). The optimal cut-off value of the mean ADC was 1.35 × 10-3 mm2/s, with a sensitivity of 100% and a specificity of 75%. Based on the ROC-curve analysis of APT and ADC, the ADC showed a higher area under the curve (AUC) than that of APT (AUCAPT = 0.84, AUCADC = 0.95). Conclusion: APTw imaging may be as useful as DWI for the differentiation of papillary thyroid carcinoma from predominantly solid adenomatous nodule. Although the sensitivity of ADC was greater than that of APT, APT had greater specificity.

RESUMO

Background: Pre-operative non-invasive differentiation of benign and malignant thyroid nodules is difficult for doctors. This study aims to determine whether amide proton transfer (APT) imaging and zonally oblique multi-slice (ZOOM) diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) can provide increased accuracy in differentiating benign and malignant thyroid nodules. Methods: This retrospective study was approved by the institutional review board and included 60 thyroid nodules in 50 patients. All of the nodules were classified as malignant (n = 21) or benign (n = 39) based on pathology. It was meaningful to analyze the APT and apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values of the two groups by independent t-test to identify the benign and malignant thyroid nodules. The relationship between APT and ZOOM DWI was explored through Pearson correlation analysis. The diagnostic efficacy of APT and ZOOM DWI in determining if thyroid nodules were benign or malignant was compared using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis. Results: The mean APTw value of the benign nodules was 2.99 ± 0.79, while that of the malignant nodules was 2.14 ± 0.73. Additionally, there was a significant difference in the APTw values of the two groups (P < 0.05). The mean ADC value of the benign nodules was 1.84 ± 0.41, and was significantly different from that of the malignant nodules, which was 1.21 ± 0.19 (P < 0.05). Scatter point and Pearson test showed a moderate positive correlation between the APT and ADC values (P < 0.05). The ROC curve showed that the area under the curve (AUC) value of ZOOM DWI (AUC = 0.937) was greater than that of APT (AUC = 0.783) (P = 0.028). Conclusion: APT and ZOOM DWI imaging improved the accuracy of distinguishing between benign and malignant thyroid nodules. ZOOM DWI is superior to APTw imaging (Z = 2.198, P < 0.05).

RESUMO

Shallow acceptor states in Mg-doped CuAlO2 and their effect on structural, electrical, and optical properties are investigated by combining first-principles calculations and experiments. First-principles calculations demonstrate that Mg substituting at the Al site in CuAlO2 plays the role of shallow acceptor and has a low formation energy, suggesting that Mg doping can increase hole concentration and improve the conductivity of CuAlO2. Hall effect measurements indicate that the hole concentration of the Mg-doped CuAlO2 thin film is 2 orders of magnitude higher than that of undoped CuAlO2. The best room temperature conductivity of 8.0 × 10-2 S/cm is obtained. A band gap widening is observed in the optical absorption spectra of Mg-doped CuAlO2, which is well supported by the results from first-principles electronic structure calculations.
