RESUMO

Two new species of the genus Laemostenus Bonelli sg. Antisphodrus Schaufuss of the bodemeyeri species-group are described, illustrated and compared with the related species: Laemostenus (Antisphodrus) bozdagensis sp. nov. (Type locality Manisa, Bozdaglar) and Laemostenus (Antisphodrus) binboga sp. nov. (Type locality Kayseri, Sariz, Binboga Daglari). These new species were collected with subterranean pitfall traps in the mesovoid shallow substratum (MSS). Additional faunistic and systematic comments, identification key and check-list for Turkish species of the bodemeyeri species group are also presented. Distribution of the bodemeyeri species group is mapped.

RESUMO

The species belonging to the Sphodrine genus Laemostenus Bonelli, 1810 from central and southern Zagros Mts. and central zones of Iran were studied. Two new species-groups of the subgenus Antisphodrus Schaufuss, 1865 are proposed, and seven new species belonging to subgenera Antisphodrus Schaufuss, 1865 and Iranosphodrus Lohaj & Casale, 2011 are described. Morphological characters of the habitus and shape of male genitalia were used to delimit the species. New species of subgenus Antisphodrus are: L. (A.) zagrosensis sp. nov. and L. (A.) speleophilus sp. nov. from Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, and L. (A.) farsicus sp. nov. from Fars province (zagrosensis species-group); Laemostenus (A) zakariyiensis sp. nov. from Fars province (aequalis species-group), and L. (A.) shirazensis sp. nov. from Fars province (glasunowi species-group).  Based on the newly collected material, the subgenus Iranosphodrus is redefined and two new species from Yazd province are described: L.(I.) yazdensis sp. nov. and L.(I.) troglophilus sp. nov. An identification key for the Laemostenus species of the studied area is provided, and a check list for Iranian representatives of subgenera Antisphodrus and Iranosphodrus are given.

RESUMO

The species belonging to the trechine genus Adriaphaenops Noesske, 1928 are studied. As a result, seven currently known and five newly described species are recognized. Morphological characters of the habitus (especially the shape of head and pronotum) as well as male genitalia are widely used to delimit the species. The following new species are described: A. albanicus sp. nov. (Albania, Shkodër, Boga, Thatë Mts.), A. jasminkoi sp. nov. (Bosnia & Hercegovina, Nevesinje, Novakova pecina cave), A. mlejneki sp. nov. (Montenegro, Gornje Stravce, Kucke planine Mts.), A. njegosiensis sp. nov. (Montenegro, Cetinje, Cetinjska pecina cave) and A.rumijaensis sp. nov. (Montenegro, Virpazar, Rumija Mts.). Lectotype for A. stirni (Pretner, 1959) is designated. Data on the distribution and ecology of new taxa, complemented with descriptions of the type localities are provided. Key to the identification of all twelve Adriaphaenops species, as well as a key of all hitherto known aphaenopsoid Trechini genera from Dinarides are also given.

RESUMO

Duvalius (sg. Neoduvalius) gejzadunayi sp. n. from Pecina u Dubokom potoku cave ( Donje Bisevo village near Rozaje, Montenegro), the first known representative of this subgenus from the territory of Montenegro is described, illustrated and compared with the related species of the subgenus Neoduvalius Müller, 1913. This new species is characterised by depigmented, medium sized body, totally reduced eyes, deep and complete frontal furrows, 3-4 pairs of discal setae in third elytral stria, as well as by the shape of aedeagus. Data on the distribution and the ecology of this remarkable species, as well as a check-list of the subgenus Neoduvalius are also provided. Recently described genera Serboduvalius Curcic, S. B. Pavicevic & Curcic, B.P.M., 2001, Rascioduvalius Curcic, S. B. Brajkovic, Mitic & Curcic, B.P.M., 2003, Javorella Curcic, S. B. Brajkovic, Curcic, B.P.M. & Mitic, 2003 and Curcicia Curcic, S. B. & Brajkovic, 2003 are regarded as junior synonyms of the genus Duvalius Delarouzée.

RESUMO

Haplotype data of 11 Y-STR loci (DYS391, DYS389I, DYS439, DYS389II, DYS438, DYS437, DYS19, DYS392, DYS393, DYS390 and DYS385) was obtained from 629 Slovak Caucasian men living in Eastern Slovakia. A total of 474 haplotypes were identified, of which 395 were unique. The haplotype diversity value was 0.9982. Pairwise haplotype distances showed that the Eastern Slovak Caucasian population is not significantly different from the Slavs populations and is separated from the Balkan nations and the German speaking populations.
