RESUMO

The dynamics of transformation and osmotic fragility (OF) of erythrocytes in the blood of rats of different ages (6, 12 and 24 months) were studied using small-angle light scattering method and the indices of erythrocytes transformation were calculated. The heterogeneity of the erythrocytes population in the blood increased with age: the proportion of normal and highly resistant flattened discocytes decreased. The proportion of flattened discocytes was the lowest in 12 months of aged rats. Correspondently, the proportion of the erythrocytes altered shapes, both reversible (stomatocytes) and irreversible (spherocytes), increased with age. It is speculated that the erythrocytes transformation developed via the stomatocytic pathway. The tendency to an increase in the level of erythrocytes OF between the rat ages was only found. The indices of transformation, reversible and irreversible transformation increased with age, except for the reversibility index, which was the highest in 6 months of age rats, significantly unchanged in 12 months of age rats, and decreased almost in 3,5 times in 24 months compared to 6 months of aged rats. In 6 months` aged rats, a lower index of transformation was observed against a background of a higher index of reversibility compared to the other age groups of rats.

RESUMO

Blood leukocyte indices were studied in outbred male of rats of five age groups - 1,5; 6, 12, 18 and 24 months. Six month's old rats were served as the control. The increase in age in rats was accompanied by an increase of total leukocyte count (starting from the 12-month-old), in the percentage of neutrophils (both banded and segmented), eosinophils and monocytes as well as by a decrease in the number of lymphocytes, the appearance (starting from the 18-month-old) of polychromatophilic and immature cells, and cytoplasm plasmatization in some leukocytes. In immature 1,5-month-old rats, only the percentage of eosinophils (as in 12-month-old rats) and the total number of leukocytes changed (decreased). The process of restructuring of the immune system altered links in body reflected the dynamics of integral leukocyte indices (ILI). Changes in ILI at increase in age (starting from 18 months of age) indicated an increase in infectious intoxication and inflammation, activation of cellular immunity and effector link, the prevalence of non-specific protection cells (neutrophils) and their immature forms, as well as a delayed type of hypersensitivity, decrease in immunoreactivity and level of adaptation of the body. The lowest Garkavi adaptation index was in 24-month-old rats. Only in 1,5-month-old rats, the microphagocytes increased in the blood, as well as the body level of allergization was the lowest and the level of intoxication level was the highest compared to the other studied age groups.

RESUMO

By the low-angle light scattering technique there are revealed peculiarities of dynamics of transformation (osmotic fragility, level of hemolysis and ratio of forms by index of sphericity) of erythrocytes of hetero- (golden hamsters Mesocricetus auratus) and homoiothermal (white rats Rattus norbegicus) animals in natural hibernation and suspended animation, craniocerebral and immersion hypothermia. In control in hamsters the osmotic fragility and the level of hemolysis of erythrocytes were higher than in rats, predominant were modified forms (in particular stomatocytes). Under artificial hypothermia, regardless of the way of achievement, depth and duration, we observed changes similar in direction, but different in expression: the osmotic fragility and hemolysis increased, the portion of discocytes decreased (especially sharply in hamsters under suspended animation), the number of changed erythrocytic forms rose. In contrast, under hiberation the osmotic fragility, hemolysis and the amount of stomatocytes declined, the portion of discocytes increased, but at the same time the amount of prehemolytic forms (spherocytes) rose too. In 24 hs there occurred a decrease of osmotic fragility (after suspended animation more pronounced in hamsters) and the level of hemolysis (especially after immersion hypothermia), the portion of discocytes was restored, in hamsters after suspended animation and in rats after immersion hypothermia it even exceeded the control level; spherocytes in blood of hamsters were not revealed, in rats they were elevated. Possibly, the observed qualitative change of population of spherocytes 24 h after hypothermia toward its homogeneity is determined not only at the level of elimination of old and defected cells, activation of erythropoiesis, the appearance of highly resistant erythrocytes, but also at the level of time membrane-stabilizing mechanisms.

RESUMO

Complex analysis of Extra Erbisol influence on cerebral hemodynamics, bioelectric activity of the brain in patients, who survived the ischemic insult, the expediency of the preparation application in complex of treatment and rehabilitation of the patients were suggested. There was established, that Extra Erbisol application had promoted the cerebral hemodynamics improvement and intrahemispheric interrelationship harmonization. This substantiates the recommendations for including of the preparation to the complex treatment of patients, who had survived an ischemic insult.

RESUMO

The proteinases, nontrypsinlike proteinases (NTLP), alpha-1-proteinase inhibitor, alpha-2-macroglobulin (alpha-2-MG) activities were researched in serum, tissues of hypothalamus, cerebral cortices, lung, heart, liver, kidneys in old rats with hypertension caused by electricity current at introduction of cord and mature blood preparations. The increase of proteinase and NTLP activities were revealed on the background of alpha-2-MG level reduction. The changes caused by stimulated hypertension, can be corrected by introduction of blood preparations and the effect of cord blood is more manifested.
