Revisionary notes on the genus Aulacocentrum Brues (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Macrocentrinae) from Vietnam.

This paper contains descriptions and illustrations of five new species of the genus Aulacocentrum Brues, 1922, from Vietnam, viz. Aulacocentrumassitum Long & Pham, sp. nov.; A.glabrum Long, sp. nov.; A.imparum Long & van Achterberg, sp. nov.; A.intermedium Long & van Achterberg, sp. nov.; and A.simulatum Long, sp. nov. Additionally, Aulacocentrumseticella van Achterberg & He is newly recorded for Vietnam's braconid fauna. A checklist and a key to the Oriental and East Palaearctic Aulacocentrum species is provided and the in-country distribution of the Vietnamese species is given.

First record of the genus Testudobracon Quicke, 1986 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Braconinae) in Vietnam, with description of four new species.

Five species of the genus Testudobracon Quicke, 1986 in Vietnam were recognized, and four new species, viz. Testudobracon alius Long, sp. nov., Testudobracon descensus Long, sp. nov., Testudobracon imitator Long, sp. nov., and Testudobracon phiaoacus Long & PQMai, sp. nov. are described and fully illustrated. Additionally, the genus Testudobracon and one species, Testudobracon flavus Tang, Chen & He, 1997, are newly recorded for the Vietnam's braconid fauna. A checklist of the already known of Testudobracon species is provided, a key to Vietnamese species of the genus Testudobracon in Vietnam, their in-country distribution, and differentiation of the known similar species are also given.

Three new species of the genus Spinadesha Quicke (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Braconinae) from Vietnam.

This paper contains descriptions and illustrations of three new species of the genus Spinadesha Quicke from Vietnam, viz. Spinadesha alia Long, sp. nov., S. crista Long, sp. nov. and S. intermedia Long, sp. nov. The genus Spinadesha is recorded for the first time from Vietnam, and a key to the species of Spinadesha is provided.

Review of the genus Arhaconortus Belokobylskij, 2000 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Doryctinae), with description of three new species from Vietnam.

In the present study, the genus Arhaconotus is revised and keyed with three species of this genus from Vietnam were described and fully illustrated as new for science, viz.Arhaconotus belokobylskiji Long,sp. nov., A. hoabinhicus Long,sp. nov. and A. longicaudatus Long,sp. nov., and one species, A. hainanensis Tang & Chen, 2010 newly recorded for Vietnams braconid fauna. Up to know, a total of seven species of Arhaconotus are described, a key to all the already known Arhaconotus species is provided. Comparative morphological characters of Arhaconotus species were also discussed.

The identity of Chivinia Shestakov (Hymenoptera: Braconidae, Braconinae), with description of a similar species from the Oriental region.

A peculiar new species from Vietnam (Bracon (Pseudochivinia) tobiasi Long & van Achterberg, sp. nov.) is described and illustrated. It is included in a new subgenus Pseudochivinia Long & van Achterberg, subgen. nov., because it does not fit into the superficially similar subgenus Chivinia Shestakov. The new subgenus shares with Chivinia Shestakov the absence of vein r-m of the fore wing (resulting in the absence of a closed second submarginal cell) but can be distinguished from Chivinia and other subgenera of the genus Bracon Fabricius by the deep and crenulate medio-longitudinal depression of the first metasomal tergite and the different venation. Bracon (Chivinia) zimini Shestakov, 1932 is redescribed and illustrated for the first time.

Four new species of the subfamily Braconinae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) from Vietnam.

This paper contains descriptions and illustrations of four new species of braconine wasps from two genera Megalommum Szpligeti, 1900 and Nedinoschiza Cameron, 1911 from Vietnam, viz. Megalommum hoabinhense Long, sp. nov., M. simulatum Long, sp. nov., M. sonlaense Long, sp. nov. and Nedinoschiza khuathalinhae Long, sp. nov. Additionally, the genus Megalommum is the first record for Vietnam.

A new genus Anamalysia van Achterberg (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Alysiinae), six new species, and two new combinations from India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

A new genus of the tribe Alysiini (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Alysiinae) is described with specimens from India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, and six new species are described: Anamalysiaidiastimorpha sp. nov. (type species), A.knekosoma sp. nov., A.mellipes sp. nov., A.transversator sp. nov., A.vandervechti sp. nov., and A.vanhengstumi sp. nov.. We transfer one species from Coelalysia to Anamalysia: A.urbana (Papp, 1967) comb. nov. from Singapore and one species from Alysiasta to Anamalysia: A.triangulum (Fischer, 2006) comb. nov. from Malaysia, Laos, Indonesia and Vietnam. A key to the genus of Anamalysia is included.

Six new braconid wasps of the genus Colastomion Baker, 1917 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Rogadinae) from Vietnam.

The relatively small genus Colastomion Baker, 1917 is newly recorded for Vietnams braconid fauna and six new species are described and fully illustrated, viz. Colastomion asperum Long, sp. n; Colastomion cephonodes Long PVLam, sp. n.; Colastomion citrum Long, sp. n.; Colastomion neuterum Long, sp. n.; Colastomion nigroconfusum Long Pham, sp. n. and Colastomion vietnamenese Long, sp. n. Based on both females and males, a key to the new species from Vietnam is given. Diagnostic characters of the new species are also analyzed and compared with other Colastomion species from the Oriental region. Additionally, the first host record for the new species, C. cephonodes sp. n., is provided as this new species is reared from caterpillars of the coffee hawkmoth, Cephonodes hylas (Linnaeus, 1771).

First record of the genus Trispinaria Quicke, 1986 (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Braconinae) in Vietnam, with descriptions of two new species.

Two new species of the genus Trispinaria Quicke, 1986, from Vietnam, viz. T. seminigra Long, sp. nov. and T. vietnamica Long, sp. nov., are described and fully illustrated. Additionally, this is the first record of the genus Trispinaria in Vietnam. A checklist with distributions of previously described species of the genus Trispinaria is given. Comparative characters of the Vietnamese species are provided and modified key couplets are provided to facilitate their identification.

Orientocardiochiles, a new genus of Cardiochilinae (Hymenoptera, Braconidae), with descriptions of two new species from Malaysia and Vietnam.

For the first time in 21 years, a new genus of cardiochiline braconid wasp, Orientocardiochiles Kang & Long, gen. nov. (type species Orientocardiochiles joeburrowi Kang, sp. nov.), is discovered and described. This genus represents the ninth genus in the Oriental region. Two new species (O. joeburrowi Kang, sp. nov. and O. nigrofasciatus Long, sp. nov.) are described and illustrated, and a key to species of the genus, with detailed images, is added. Diagnostic characters of the new genus are analyzed and compared with several other cardiochiline genera to allow the genus to key out properly using an existing generic treatment. The scientific names validated by this paper and morphological data obtained from this project will be utilized and tested in the upcoming genus-level revision of the subfamily based on combined morphological and molecular data.

Notes on the genus Streblocera Westwood, 1883 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Euphorinae) from Vietnam, with description of four new species.

Species of the genus Streblocera Westwood are reviewed with four new species from Vietnam described and illustrated, viz. Streblocera (Eutanycerus) intermedia Long, sp. n.; S. (E.) quangbinhensis Long, sp. n.; S. (E.) trangana Long Pham, sp. n.; and S. (E.) tuyenquangensis Long, sp. n.. A key to Vietnamese species of the subgenus Eutanycerus is provided.

Two new species of the genus Austerocardiochiles Dangerfield, Austin amp; Whitfield, 1999 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Cardiochilinae) from Vietnam.

Two new species of the genus Austerocardiochiles Dangerfield, Austin Whitfield, 1999 from Vietnam, viz. A. mellosus Long, sp. n. and A. simulatus Long, sp. n., are described and illustrated. Additionally, the genus Austerocardiochiles is newly recorded for the braconid fauna of Vietnam. The checklist and distribution of already known species of the genus Austerocardiochiles are given. A comprehensive key to Austerocardiochiles species from Oriental region is also provided.

New species of the Rhaconotusjacobsoni group (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Doryctinae) from Vietnam.

Four new species of the genus Rhaconotus Ruthe from Vietnam are described and illustrated - Rhaconotusdirectus Long, sp. nov., R.laevigatus Long, sp. nov., R.robustus Long, sp. nov., and R.simulatus Long, sp. nov. A key to species of Rhaconotusjacobsoni group from the Oriental region is provided.

First record of the genus Rasnitsynoryctes Belokobylskij, 2011 (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Doryctinae) in Vietnam, with the description of a new species.

The rare doryctine genus Rasnitsynoryctes Belokobylskij, 2011 is recorded for the braconid fauna of Vietnam for the first time. A new species of this genus, R.vietnamicus sp. nov., is described and illustrated.

New record of the genus Zombrus Marshall, 1897 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Doryctinae), with description of three new species from Vietnam.

The genus Zombrus Marshall, 1897, is newly recorded for Vietnam with four species. Three new species (Z. bicoloricorpus Long, sp. n., Z. flavicorpus Long van Achterberg, sp. n., and Z. tricoloricorpus Long, sp. n.) are described and illustrated, and one species (Z. pallidiventris Cameron, 1910) is reported for the first time from Vietnam and outside Indonesia. The key to Oriental and Palaearctic species of Zombrus and a checklist with distributions of the nine species from Oriental and Palaearctic regions are provided.

First record of the genus Darnilia van Achterberg, 1989 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Rogadinae) from Vietnam, with description of three new species.

Three new species of the genus Darnilia van Achterberg, 1989 from Vietnam, viz. D. granulata Long van Achterberg, sp. n., D. intermedia Long van Achterberg, sp. n. and D. vietnamica Long van Achterberg, sp. n., are described and illustrated. This is the first record of the genus Darnilia for Vietnam. A key to the species of the genus Darnilia is provided.

Review of Stantonia Ashmead (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Orgilinae) from Vietnam, China, Japan, and Russia, with descriptions of six new species.

The genus Stantonia Ashmead, 1904 (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Orgilinae) is reviewed for Vietnam, China, Japan, and Russia. Six new species of the genus Stantonia are described and illustrated: Stantonia brevicaudata van Achterberg, sp. n., S. dickyyui van Achterberg & Long, sp. n., S. granulata Long & van Achterberg, sp. n., S. robustifemur van Achterberg & Long, sp. n., S. stilpnosoma Long & van Achterberg, sp. n., and S. vietnamica van Achterberg, sp. n. A new subgenus (Planitoniasubg. n.: type species Stantonia robustifemur van Achterberg & Long, sp. n.) is proposed for the species with a flat clypeus and face, and reduced vein r-m of the fore wing. Three species are newly recorded from Vietnam: Stantonia gracilis van Achterberg, 1987, S. sumatrana Enderlein, 1908, and S. tianmushana Chen, He & Ma, 2004. A key to species of Stantonia from Vietnam, China, Russia, and Japan is provided.

A new species of Zaglyptogastra Ashmead, 1900 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Braconinae) from Vietnam.

The moderately large genus Zaglyptogastra Ashmead, 1900 is newly recorded for Vietnam and one new species, Z. vietnamica Long sp. n., is described and illustrated. Differences between the new species and two described species, Z. aswada El-Heneidy & Quicke, 2007, from Indonesia (Sumatra) and Z. vitalisi (Turner, 1919), from Laos, are given.

Pseudofornicia gen. n. (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Microgastrinae), a new Indo-Australian genus and one new species from Vietnam.

Pseudofornicia gen. n. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Microgastrinae) is described (type species: Pseudofornicia nigrisoma sp. n. from Vietnam) including three Oriental (type species, Pseudofornicia flavoabdominis (He & Chen, 1994), comb. n. and Pseudofornicia vanachterbergi Long, (nom. n. for Fornicia achterbergi Long, 2007; not Fornicia achterbergi Yang & Chen, 2006) and one Australian species (Pseudofornicia commoni (Austin & Dangerfield, 1992), comb. n.). Keys to genera with similar metasomal carapace and to species of the new genus are provided. The new genus shares the curved inner middle tibial spur, the comparatively small head, the median carina of the first metasomal tergite and the metasomal carapace with Fornicia Brullé, 1846, but has the first tergite movably joined to the second tergite and the third tergite 1.1-1.6 × as long as the second tergite medially and is flattened in lateral view. One of the included species is a primary homonym and is renamed in this paper.

Review of the genus Canalirogas van Achterberg & Chen (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Rogadinae) from Vietnam, with description of ten new species.

The Vietnamese species of the genus Canalirogas van Achterberg & Chen, 1996 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Rogadinae) are revised. Ten species are new to science, viz., Canalirogasaffinis sp. n., Canalirogascucphuongensis sp. n., Canalirogascurvinervis sp. n., Canalirogaseurycerus sp. n., Canalirogashoabinhicus sp. n., Canalirogasintermedius sp. n., Canalirogasparallelus sp. n., Canalirogasrobberti sp. n., Canalirogasvittatus sp. n. and Canalirogasvuquangensis sp. n. One species is new for the Vietnamese fauna: Canalirogasspilonotus (Cameron, 1905) and Canalirogasbalgooyi van Achterberg & Chen, 1996, is synonymized with it (syn. n.); a lectotype is designated for Troporhogasspilonotus. A key to the Vietnamese species of the genus is also provided.
