RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To analyze and evaluate the effects of humanized nursing combined with wet healing therapy to treat the stage II and III bedsores in hospitalized patients. PATIENTS AND METHODS: From March 2013 to July 2014 we enrolled fifty patients with stage II and III bedsores. They were randomly divided into control group and experimental group, with 25 cases in each group. For the control group, we adopted a traditional method of treatment for pressure ulcer treatment, while the experimental group was treated with humanized nursing in combination with wet healing therapy. After 28 days, the treatment results in both groups were evaluated. RESULTS: The improvement rate for patients in the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group. In the experimental group, the improvement rates for patients suffering from stage II and III pressure ulcers were significantly higher than those of the control group. The Branden score and the area of pressure ulcer were significantly decreased in the experimental group. The frequency of dressing change, the dressing time and the average cost of hospitalization in the experimental group were significantly lower. CONCLUSIONS: The effect of wet healing therapy combined with humanized nursing in preventing and treating the bedsore is promising, and it is worthy of clinical promotion.

RESUMO

Objective: To explore the mental health status for new nurse during the standardization training period and provide scientific basis for managers to formulate corresponding measures. Methods: Using eysenck personality questionnaire (EPQ) and symptom self-assessment scale (SCL-90) , understanding social support scale (PSSS) , trait coping style questionnaire (TCSQ) and other standardized psychological assessment tools and self designed general situation questionnaire, 141 nurses in our hospital before rotary department and 1 year later accepted the questionnaire survey while the control group accepted the same questionnaire. Results: Compared with before rotary department and the control group, the forced, anxiety and interpersonal sensitivity factor increased significantly in SCL-90 for rotary nurse and the differences were significant statistical significance (P<0.05) ; Pearson correlation analysis showed rotary nurse SCL-90 forcing factor scores and EPQ-E dimension scores, TCSQ negative coping scores were positively correlated (P<0.05; r1=0.537; r2=0.407; r3=0.701) , and were negatively correlated with EPQ-E dimension scores, PSSS scores and TCSQ active responding score (P<0.05; r1=-0.621; r2=-0.671; r3=-0.312) ; Anxiety was positively correlated with EPQ-N, PSSS scores and TCSQ negative responding score (P<0.05; r1=0.607; r2=0.409; r3=0.764) , was negatively correlated with EPQ-E dimension scores, PSSS scores and TCSQ positive responding score (P<0.05; r1=-0.569; r2=-0.723; r3= -0.418) ; Interpersonal sensitivity factor score was positively correlated with EPQ-N, P dimension scores and TCSQ negative coping scores (P<0.05; r1=0.611; r2=0.687; r3=0.773) , was negatively correlated with EPQ-E dimension scores, PSSS scores and TCSQ active responding score (P<0.05; r1=-0.506; r2=-0.693; r3=-0.307) . Conclusion: Rotary nurse mental health status was significantly lower than non-rotary nurse.Insufficient social support, negative coping style and instability personality characteristics are the main risk factors to affect the rotation nurses mental health.

RESUMO

AIM: Confocal laser endomicroscopy (CLE) is a recently developed technique used to image colorectal neoplasia. Trials have shown varied results when it is compared with conventional colonoscopy. A meta-analysis was performed to determine the diagnostic accuracy of CLE in the detection of colorectal neoplasia. METHOD: A search was performed for studies assessing the accuracy of CLE in colorectal neoplasia. Studies comparing CLE diagnostic accuracy with conventional endoscopy in the detection of colorectal neoplasia were included. Exclusion criteria included case reports or case series, reviews, duplicate reports or insufficient data in the paper. Seventy-eight titles came up in the initial search and six studies were selected. These were subjected to a meta-analysis. In all, 284 patients with 1030 lesions were included. Each patient underwent conventional colonoscopy and CLE. Per-lesion sensitivity and specificity with 95% CI were calculated. RESULTS: In the individual studies, the sensitivity ranged from 33.3% to 100% and specificity from 71.6% to 99.4%. The weighted and total pooled result (random effects model) for sensitivity was 81% (95% CI 77-85) and for specificity was 88% (95% CI 85-90). The area under the weighted symmetric summary receiver operating curve was 0.9186. In the endoscope-based CLE subgroup, the sensitivity was 82% (95% CI 69-91) and specificity was 94% (95% CI 91-96). In the probe-based CLE subgroup, the sensitivity was 81% (95% CI 76-85) and the specificity was 75% (95% CI 69-81). CONCLUSION: CLE, using either the endoscope-based CLE or probe-based CLE technique, has high sensitivity and specificity. It could therefore be considered as an alternative endoscopic method to distinguish neoplastic from non-neoplastic lesions.
