RESUMO
Se presenta un estudio de corte transversal en 180 pacientes del área de salud de Párraga con el propósito de describir el comportamiento de las enfermedades bucales en pacientes alcohólicos. La fuente de información se obtuvo mediante la aplicación de encuestas y examen físico bucal, se estudiaron variables como cantidad, frecuencia, tiempo de exposición al hábito, tipo de bebida así como edad y sexo. Los resultados mostraron que existe una relación estrecha entre el alcoholismo y la aparición de enfermedades bucales. Se encontraron con mayor frecuencia las lesiones pre-malignas y las avitaminosis, fueron las bebidas destiladas las más relacionadas con estas enfermedades, fue el sexo masculino el más afectado al igual que el grupo de edad de 35-59 años. Se recomienda realizar actividades educativas preventivas intentando modificar los estilos de vida y por consiguiente la disminución de estas enfermedades bucales.Palabras clave: Enfermedades bucales, alcoholismo, tipo de bebida, edad y sexo(AU)
Cross-sectional study in 180 patients is presented in the area of health Párraga order to describe the behavior of oral disease in alcoholic patients.
