RESUMO

One of the most active inhibitors angiotensin-converting enzyme is quinapril that has a high affinity for tissue ACE, improves endothelial vasodilation, has a wide therapeutic range and beneficient influence on heart rate. A new biological active compound with antioxidant action that has endothelioprotective, cardioprotective, antiischemic action is angiolin. In experimental arterial hypertension in the animals blood serum the activity of collagenase, the content of free and protein connecting fractions of hydroxyproline and indicators that reflect the metabolism of glycosaminoglycans have been increased. Angiolin increases the activity of collagenase free and protein connecting fractions of hydroxyproline comparing to control. Concentration glycosoaminoglycan (GAG) also exceeds the standard data. Quinapril has similar to angiolin action directed effect to the connective tissue components, though losing as proteinconecting of hydroxiproline action. Cooperative application quinapril with angioline most effectively influence the metabolic processes stabilization in experimental animals.

RESUMO

Activity of such enzymes, as creatinkinase and lactatdehydrogenase, as well as contents of electrolytes (Na+, K+, Ca2+), were analyzed in biological material (the blood serum and muscular tissue) of patients with the trauma consequences in the extremities nerves. Depending on severity of the disease and duration of pathological process in patients, the changes in indices of energetic metabolism in the extremities were registered, witnessed by results of the activity measurements of certain enzymes-markers and the electrolytes contents.

RESUMO

37 patients with chronic hepatitis B and C were examined. Patients were divided into 3 groups depending on the degree of connective tissue dysplasia. We investigated: free and protein-bounded hydroxyproline, collagenase activity, total alkaline phosphatase and its bone fraction, creatinine, calcium and phosphorus content in the blood serum and urine. It has been found the dependence of collagen synthesis from the state of connective tissue. The higher is the degree of dysplasia, the more intensive is the process of collagen synthesis (P < 0.05). The index of corellation between protein-bounded and free fraction can be used as a biochemical marker for determination the stage of pathological process in the liver and for monitoring the effectiveness of therapy.

RESUMO

The article summarizes literature data and results of the authors' studies on clinical experimental aspects of the treatment effect of laser emission. The literature shows that among different therapeutic effects of laser emission, the most studied are neurotropic, methabolic, immunomodulating, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory as well as its ability to stimulate the regeneration of wounds and bones. The authors stressed on biostimulative effect of laser therapy.

RESUMO

Of 3721 patients with diabetic lesions of the foot treated 2416 (65%) patients have been operated. The rise of urgent hospitalization rate (over 90%) unfavourably influenced the results of the treatment and contributed to increased frequency of high amputations of the extremity. The proposed system for evaluation of the condition and scope of the combined treatment resulted in decrease of mortality among operated patients from 14.7% to 9.8% and among not operated ones--from 20.5% to 5.5%. The suggested classifications of complicated forms of the "diabetic foot" syndrome provided proper evaluation of the prognosis and individual approach to the choice of treatment measures.

RESUMO

The aim of the research was experimental study of dynamics and correlative dependences between biochemical connective tissue matrix metabolism indices (blood serum collagenase, cathepsin B, elastase, antielastase activity, hydroxyproline fractions and glycosaminoglycans concentration) and tissue damage morphometric indices after long bone aseptic osteotomy of rat in terms 3 h-60 days. The most strong and significant correlation was found between cathepsin B, elastase activity indices and dimensions of bone marrow ischemic damage focuses and summarised periosteal regenerates volume in bone fragments.

RESUMO

Dynamics of biochemical parameters of the connective tissue and morphometric parameters of lesion were studied in rabbits with induced embolic aseptic infraction of the femur without and with the trental (pentoxiphylline) treatment. The correlation was found between the pairs of indices: proteolytic activity and bone marrow necrosis volume: collagenase activity and bone cortex remodelling rate: concentration of protein bound with hydroxyproline fraction and endosteal regenerate volume.

RESUMO

Experiments were conducted on 14 mongrel dogs to appraise the validity of the results of intraoperative pH-metry in the control of vagotomy completeness depending on the force of pressure exerted on the pH electrode with consideration for the type of a pH catheter used. The level of parietal pH increased with elevating pressure force due to diminished circulation in the gastric wall. The encountered diminution of circulation in the gastric wall after SPV increases still more the pH level and reduces the amplitude of its growth even in areas with maintained parasympathetic innervation with the use of histamine, which raises the probability of incomplete vagotomy. The authors conclude that pH-metry by slight application of the pH electrode to the gastric wall raises the validity of the values recorded and reduces the frequency of incomplete vagotomy in patients operated on in the clinic by 4.7 times. Increase of parietal pH to more than 6.7, irrespective of the force of the exerted pressure, is an indirect sign of ischemia of the gastric wall.
