[Various indicators of hemostasis, plasminogen-plasmin and kinin systems of the blood and their inhibitors in patients with stable angina pectoris and post-infarction cardiosclerosis after graded physical load]. / Nekotorye pokazateli gemostaza, plazminogen-plazminovoi, kininovoi sistem krovi i ikh ingibitorov u bol'nykh so stabil'noi stenokardiei i postinfarktnym kardiosklerozom v usloviiakh dozirovannoi fizicheskoi nagruzki.

Combined assessment of some parameters related to hemostasis and blood plasminogen-plasmin and kinin systems and their inhibitors was carried out in 150 patients with stable angina and postinfarction cardiosclerosis during rationed exercise (bicycle ergometry). Patients with low stress tolerance showed considerably activated kallikrein-kinin system, depressed total fibrinolytic activity, elevated trypsin and enhanced platelet adhesive properties, while their inhibitor activities were reduced. Postmyocardial infarction patients showed a more dramatic increase in free kinins, coupled with depressed inhibitor proteinases and kininase activities, and a slight increment in fibrinolytic activity, as compared to patients having to history of myocardial infarction. The magnitude of free kinins and trypsin rise and kininase fall increases with age in these patients.

[Study of the mechanisms of autoallergic reactions in cirrhosis of the liver]. / Izuchenie mekhanizmov autoallergicheskikh reaktsii pri tsirroze pecheni

Cell and humoral immunological tests were used in clinical examination of 47 patients suffering from cirrhosis of the liver; a mixed character of autoallergy was revealed in this form of pathology. Reproduction of passive anaphylaxis on guinea pigs with the aid of the sera and leukocytes of these patients pointed to the prevalence of cell allergy. Passive transmission of increased sensitivity to human hepatocytes from guinea pigs, preliminarily sensitized with salt extracts from human hepatocytes, to intact animals was realized. Active sensitization was accompanied by the formation of mixed allergy to the antigen obtained from the liver of a person who died accidentally, with the prevalence of the immediate type of reaction.
