Angiotensometry and pulsomotorography were used to study ischemia in the hollow organs in dog experiments. Specific and nonspecific disturbances, criteria of compensation and decompensation were determined. Using different methods of stimulation, stable microhemodynamic signs of ischemia--lowered pulse and motor oscillations, intramural blood pressure elevations and transformation of impulse blood flow into continuous one--were found.

The proximo-distal gradient of the maximum intramural arterial pressure levels was revealed in the intact stomach of patients. The authors' experience showed that ligations of intraorganic vessels of the stomach were responsible for different degrees of disorders in the intramural blood circulation. The proposed method permits diagnozing such disorders during operations, changing their tactics in order to prevent incompetence of the sutures of anastomoses and necroses of gastric transplants.
