RESUMO
387 patients with cardiorespiratory pathology being under the influence of antiatherosclerotic diet were observed to have the positive dynamic of clinical picture of diseases, indices of microcirculatory channel and lipid spectrum of blood. Diet enrichment with polyunsaturated fatty acids omega-3 of sea origin favors the strengthening of corrected influence on lipid metabolism and microcirculatory state improving the miocard metabolism.

Gas liquid chromatography and chromato-mass-spectrometry were used to study and compare the fatty acid composition of lipids from the Antarctic krill Euphausia superba shortly after catch and after storage for 6 months in the frozen form or thermally treated and then frozen. Fatty acid lipids were found to contain acids having a methyl group in the 2d position, and acids having an OH group in the 2d and 3d positions, which had not been reported before. The technological treatment did not produce any changes in fatty acid composition which might affect the biological value of the product under consideration.

The hypocholesteremic effect displated by the Japan Sea trepang is shown. The experiments were carried out on rabbits with hypocholesteremia caused by fasting. Total cholesterol, beta-lipoproteids, lipoid phosphorus, total phospholipids and the cholesterol/phospholipids ratio were determined in the blood of hypercholesteremic animals. The introduction of total trepang lipids to the hypercholesteremic fasting rabbits resulted in normalization of the lipids metabolism, this being indicative of the favourable effect produced by such lipids.
