RESUMO

The effect of low-dose combination antihypertensive therapy in fixed form, containing 2.5 mg of bisoprolol and 6.25 mg of hydrochlorothiazide, the clinical condition, the daily profile of blood pressure, body adrenoreactivity structural and functional parameters of the left ventricle in 28 pregnant women with preeclampsia in the background chronic hypertension (hypertension stage II, 2 nd degree) and 28 pregnant women with preeclampsia and mild to moderate severity in terms of 22-28 weeks of pregnancy. After 16 weeks of receiving a fixed form, containing 2.5 mg of bisoprolol and 6.25 mg hydrochlorothiazide, the target BP level reached 76% of pregnant women with preeclampsia with chronic hypertension and 81% - with preeclampsia. In both groups, the parameters are optimized daily profile of blood pressure, the value of the total peripheral vascular resistance.

RESUMO

The initial levels of soluble Fas antigen (sFas), leptin, and vascular endothelium growth factor (VEGF) were measured in the sera of 100 patients with ovarian cancer and benign tumors and in 60 healthy women aged 28-65 years. Serum levels of sFas and VEGF were elevated in the total group of patients with ovarian tumors, while leptin levels were the same as in healthy women. The studied parameters did not depend on the age of patients and healthy women. The levels of sFas and leptin were virtually the same in benign and malignant ovarian tumors, while VEGF concentration was higher in patients with ovarian cancer. The mean serum levels of sFas, VEGF, and leptin in patients with poorly and moderately differentiated serous ovarian cancer were 2-fold higher than in well-differentiated tumors (p<0.05), while serum concentrations of sFas and leptin increased with the disease stage progress in patients with ovarian cancer (p<0.05). According to the data of unifactorial analysis, the increase in serum levels of sFas and VEGF in ovarian cancer patients correlated with short duration of the relapse-free period. Multifactorial analysis showed that the disease stage (p=0.006), presence of ascites (p=0.03), VEGF concentration (p=0.02), and the sFas/leptin coefficient (p=0.045) are highly significant independent factors for predicting the relapse-free survival of patients with serous ovarian cancer.

RESUMO

The placebo-controlled trial of effectiveness of early intensive UHF therapy in 107 females at reproductive age with acute salpin-goophoritis has demonstrated high clinical and local immunomodulating effects of intensive UHF therapy (460 MHz, 3 procedures a day) in combination with adequate antibacterial treatment used as early as hospitalization day 1.

RESUMO

The effect of including transcutaneous low-intensity magnetic-laser radiation of blood in combined antiinflammatory therapy of salpingo-oophoritis was studied. This physiotherapy stimulates phagocytic activity of neutrophilic leukocytes of the peripheral blood, promotes faster normalization of enzymatic and non-enzymatic systems of these cells.

RESUMO

The results of examinations of 35 patients aged 17 to 42 years who had abnormalities in the cervix uteri were analyzed. Colposcopy detected an atypical epithelium in 100% of cases. To verify the diagnosis, biopsy specimens from the cervix uteri were morphologically studied prior to and following treatment. Before treatment, there was a slight proliferative activity of the epithelium in 45% of cases and its high proliferative activity in 15% in uncomplicated papilloma viral infection (PVI). A follow-up of complicated PVI indicated increases in the expression of a proliferative nuclear antigen (PVA) with higher dysplasia: a moderate response in 75% of D3 + PVI cases and a higher response in 60% of preinvasive cancers. Analysis of PCNA-immunological reactivity of biopsy specimens taken after treatment estimates the efficiency of the chosen complex of treatments: there was a negative result of immunohistochemical responses.

RESUMO

The microbiological study of vaginal microflora in 40 patients of the reproductive age (20-30 years) with papilloma virus infection in association with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia of the uterine neck revealed dysbiotic disturbances in vaginal microflora, manifested by a decrease in the isolation rate and amount of lacto- and bifidobacteria and by excessive growth of opportunistic microorganisms. The 10-day course of corrective therapy with the new bacterial preparation "Zhlemik" was carried out. Group 1 (81 women) received the preparation intravaginally on a tampon, group 2 (19 patients) received the preparation in the form of vaginal suppositories. The results of this treatment were indicative of a high sanative effect of the preparation irrespective of the method of its application. This was demonstrated by the results of the bacteriological study made after bacterial correction: the amount of the Lactobacillus was restored, and they could be isolated from all patients; the level of contamination of the cervicovaginal niche with opportunistic microbial strains considerably decreased. The positive clinical effect after bacterial therapy with "Zhlemik" was observed in 93-95% of cases, depending on the form of its application.

RESUMO

The microbiological study of vaginal secretions of 39 female patients of reproductive age (20-30 years) with papilloma virus infection associated with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) was carried out. Of these patients, 28 with papilloma virus infection associated with CINI-II made up group I and II having this infection associated with CINII made up group 2. Dysbiotic disturbances in vaginal bacterial flora, found in these patients, were manifested by a decrease in the isolation rate and number of the lacto- and bifidobacteria simultaneously with the excessive growth of opportunistic bacteria. The results of the oral administration of Solco-Trichovac are indicative of the effectiveness of this preparation, which was confirmed by the data of clinical and bacteriological studies. Together with an increase in the isolation rate of lacto- and bifidobacteria, the level of the contamination of the cervicovaginal niche with opportunistic and pathogenic bacterial strains decreased. The results thus obtained make it possible to recommend Solco-Trichovac for the complex treatment of with papilloma virus infection associated with CIN.

RESUMO

Relying on studies into the features of the gestation course, immediate and late results, instrumental investigation findings in 91 patients with mitral stenosis prior to a surgery and in the readaptive period, indications and relative contraindications for mitral commissurotomy during pregnancy were specified and supplemented. Differential strategy was also developed for delivery of such patients.

RESUMO

PIP: Research has shown that the introduction of an IUD 5 days after birth is effective. In this connection it is interesting to study the regional redistribution of blood--in the brain, the pelvis and the lower extremities--which was the object of this investigation. The subjects were 40 healthy women, and a 4-channel rheograph connected to an 8-channel encephalograph was used. Rheograms were taken before introducing the IUD and afterwards (after 6 hours, 1 day, and 1 month). We wanted to establish the basic blood flow in the organs, the response of the organ to the IUD in terms of regional hemodynamics, and the changes that occurred a month later. We found that 2 basic physiological variants in the distribution of blood between the center and the periphery occur in women after birth: either the distribution is even or there is preference for one or the other, depending on the characteristics of the woman. Our data indicate that by the 4th day after delivery these differences disappear, and introduction of the IUD does not disturb the process of uterine involution. The hypothesis that the reduced excitability of the neuromuscular apparatus of the uterus contributes to expulsion of the IUD when introduced shortly after birth will serve as the basis for more differentiated selection of women for this type of contraception.^ieng
