[Pancreatic exocrine secretion in experimental acute postoperative pancreatitis]. / Vneshniaia sekretsiia podzheludochnoi zhelezy pri éksperimental'nom ostrom posleoperatsionnom pankreatite.

Transformations of parameters of pancreatic exocrine secretion after the direct operations on the pancreas of a dog were studied during the experiment. It was determined that the early post-operative period proceeds in the conditions of the expressed pancreatic hypersecretion, hyperenzymemia and ductal hypertension. Their intensity reduces as the destructive process in pancreas develops. This results in changes of pancreatic exosecretion in two phases: the increasing and decreasing hypersecretion. The role of augmentation of the secretory activity of pancreas in pathogenesis of the acute postoperative pancreatitis is discussed. Its development was observed in all operated animals. This enabled us to resolve all contradictions and to prove the expediency of the application of pancreas secretion inhibitors at the prevention of acute post-operative pancreatitis.

[Formation of patients' opinion regarding their satisfaction with hospital care]. / Formirovanie mneniia bol'nykh ob udovletvorennosti statsionarnoi pomoshch'iu.

The study was carried out with the help of adapted questionnaire of WHO Regional Office for Europe by interviewing 516 adult residents of a big city. The role and place of ethiopsychological, deontological and organizational factors were determined in the formation of one of the components of end results--the degree of patient's satisfaction. The advisability of using interview surveys of population as one of the criteria in the organization of medical care to the population is emphasized.

Within the limits of the study undertaken by WHO Regional Office for Europe population's satisfaction of district physician's performance was assessed. 516 adult inhabitants of a big city were interviewed using the adapted variant of the questionnaire. As a result a desired by the population model of personal and professional qualities of this most popular public health figure was created. The work done indicates the advisability of using sociological surveys as one of the criteria of health care delivery for the population.
