Morphology of reparative regeneration in organs and tissues during treatment with new generation Sulfacrylate.

We studied morphogenesis of reparative processes in parenchymatous and hollow organs after surgery with the use of Sulfacrylate glue composition characterized by good adhesive and bactericidal properties. The glue rapidly and effectively arrested parenchymatous bleeding, reduced the volume of necrotic tissue, and promoted wound healing without suppuration. Cicatrix was completely formed 1 month after surgery and the glue completely resorbed at this term. The bioglue reliably connected and hermetically sealed sutures when used for gluing intestinal loops and for creation of intestinal anastomoses. The use of biological glue promoted the formation of elastic fibrous tissue not distorting the intestinal lumen.

New technologies making use of Sulfacrylate in pediatric surgery.

Sulfacrylate glue composition was used in surgery for traumatic injuries to parenchymatous organs for attaining hemostasis and hermetic sealing of intestinal anastomoses and hollow organs, in cancer patients, in gynecological and thoracic surgery, and in correction of congenital defects. Glue composition ensures reliable intraoperative hemostasis, hermetic sealing of wounds in parenchymatous and hollow organs, prevents infection of the abdominal and thoracic cavities, thus reducing endotoxicosis and stimulating tissue regeneration. The use of Sulfacrylate optimized surgery, facilitated operative technology in difficult situations, and prevented the development of postoperative complications.

[Acute destructive appendicitis in newborn infants]. / Ostryi destruktivnyi appenditsit u novorozhdennykh.

The results of operations on 6 newborn infants for destructive appendicitis are analysed. It is pointed out that the diagnosis of acute appendicitis is made with great difficulties because there are no typical signs of the disease and complications that develop rapidly: diffuse peritonitis or formation of an appendicular abscess. Examples of the management of patients with a complicated course of acute destructive appendicitis are given.

[Ultrastructural and functional features of the reversibility of sclerotic liver changes in rats treated with exogenous organ specific RNA]. / Ul'trastrukturnye i funktsional'nye osobennosti obratimosti skleroticheskikh izmenenii pecheni krys pod vliianiem ékzogennoi organospetsificheskoi RNK.

Ultrastructural peculiarities of hepatocytes and Kupffer's cells in rats during the spontaneous reversibility of the experimental cirrhosis of the liver under the usual conditions and also under the influence of exogenous RNA, administered by different methods, were studied. The changes in cell ultrastructure proved to correlate with those of the quantitative indices of the protein synthesizing the liver function during the hepatic cirrhosis reversibility. A positive role of the RNA influence of short duration on the intracellular reparative hepatocytes regeneration, and a negative one in case of RNA influence of long duration was revealed. Participation in the resorption of collagen both of the parenchymal cells and of the stroma was shown.
