RESUMO
12 492 intergenic regions were stratified into four classes according to protein coding genes mutual orientation flanking an intergenic region. It was revealed that transposon insertion sites number linearly correlates with number of promoters (none, one, or two) in an intergenic region. The vast majority oftransposons reside in intergenic regions with two promoters. Remarkably, the suppression manifestation, on the contrary, was most pronounced in ("promoterless" intergenic regions. Discussion of the phenomenon is based on the chromatin state analysis of various intergenic regions.

We describe the performance of a second-harmonic interferometer (SHI) to measure, on an optical path exceeding 12 m, the electron plasma density of two plasmoids formed in separate theta-pinch chambers and then merged in a central compression chamber after undergoing acceleration and compression. The excellent mechanical stability and a time resolution better than 50 ns suggest the application of SHI, especially in pulsed plasma devices with limited optical accesses.
RESUMO
Some reasons preventing realization of a principle of vocational training of the medical personnel of health service BC the Russian Federation, including the expense of insufficient efficiency of planning of formation are considered in the article. Recommendations about working out of the personnel register are given.

Changes of the pulmonary artery branches in rats at the state of relative physiological rest undergo two stages during the process of individual adaptation for 60 days. The first is characterized with generalized decrease of the lumen and with thickening of the vascular wall as a result of reflectory spasm and edematous swelling of the arteries, the second--with a relative dilatation of the lumen and with decreasing thickness of the vascular wall, as a result of decreasing reflectory spasm and edematous phenomena. The physical load increases the organism's elevated oxygen consumption under conditions of high-altitude, which is increased by itself; this intensifies the function of the pulmonary blood bed. In combination with the edematous phenomena, the wall of the pulmonary artery becomes sharply thickened in the first stage. In the second stage the tissue mechanisms are switched on for satisfaction of oxygen consumption. Therefore, the load on the right part of the heart and on the pulmonary vessels decreases edematous phenomena, the thickness of the wall in the pulmonary artery branches decline, in comparison with the data of the first stage. The thickness of the wall in the first stage is combined with a manifested constriction of the lumen, and the relative thinning of the vascular wall--with dilatation.

The effect of post-hemotransfusion protein fractions on blood pressure, microcirculation and physiologically active substances has been studied in stimulated blood replacement by homologous animal blood. The in vivo and in vitro experiments have revealed that subfraction of hemotransfusion plasma macromolecular proteins has a prominent antihypertensive effect, leading to blood flow slowing in the microvascular bed. Hemotransfusion plasma proteins possess high serotonin-releasing activity. The involvement of blood proteins and physiologically active substances into the generation of the recepient's response to homologous blood transfusion from several donors and its role in the genesis of post-transfusion complications are discussed.

Direct contrasting of the anterior epidural space with 9-10% verografin solution was conducted in 123 patients (120 with discogenic radiculitis, 2 with tumors, and 1 with injury to the spine). The epidural space was contrasted for a distance of 3-4 intervertebral spaces and no stimulation of the epidural structures occurred. The epidurograms demonstrated convincing information concerning the character of the protrusion and prolapse of the intervertebral discs and the existence of block of the epidural space in tumors. Phenomena of "spinal epilepsy" occurred in 5 cases, which regressed rapidly after a complex of measures was applied. Anterior epidurography with water-soluble contrast media of low concentration is an informative and safe method.

The results of studying rheological properties of solutions of purified hemoglobin and its mixtures with blood indicate low relative viscosity of the solutions, as well as an appreciable decrease, when the blood is diluted with these solutions, of the indicators of its viscosity and yield stress without impairment of the blood suspension stability. This allows the conclusion about prospectiveness of further studies aimed at the design of hemocorrectors on the basis of extraerythrocytic hemoglobin.
