Obstetrics and gynecology Hospitalists are not only skilled providers of emergency obstetric and gynecologic care but also safety officers who advocate for and maintain safety and quality in the hospital setting. In these areas and others, they play an essential role in championing and establishing simulation-based education in the hospital setting.
