RESUMO

Pickering foam is a type of foam stabilized by solid particles known as Pickering stabilizers. These solid stabilizers adsorb at the liquid-gas interface, providing superior stability to the foam. Because of its high stability, controllability, versatility, and minimal environmental impact, nanomaterial-stabilized Pickering foam has opened up new possibilities and development prospects for foam applications. This review provides an overview of the current state of development of Pickering foam stabilized by a wide range of nanomaterials, including cellulose nanomaterials, chitin nanomaterials, silica nanoparticles, protein nanoparticles, clay mineral, carbon nanotubes, calcium carbonate nanoparticles, MXene, and graphene oxide nanosheets. Particularly, the preparation and surface modification methods of various nanoparticles, the fundamental properties of nanomaterial-stabilized Pickering foam, and the synergistic effects between nanoparticles and surfactants, functional polymers, and other additives are systematically introduced. In addition, the latest progress in the application of nanomaterial-stabilized Pickering foam in the oil industry, food industry, porous functional material, and foam flotation field is highlighted. Finally, the future prospects of nanomaterial-stabilized Pickering foam in different fields, along with directions for further research and development directions, are outlined.

INTRODUCTION: Corneal endothelial dysfunction results in cornea opacity, damaging sightedness, and affecting quality of life. A corneal transplant is the current effective intervention. Due to the scarcity of donated cornea, such an unmet medical need requires a novel therapeutic modality. OBJECTIVES: Customizing patients' corneal endothelial progenitor cells with proliferative activity and lineage restriction properties shall offer sufficient therapeutic cells for corneal endothelial dystrophy. METHODS: The customized induced human corneal endothelial progenitor-like cell (iHCEPLC) was obtained through cell fate conversions starting from PBMC (peripheral blood mononuclear cell), hiPSC (human induced pluripotent stem cell), and hNCC (human neural crest cell), while it finally reached the iHCEPLC state via a series of induction. Several molecular diagnoses were applied to depict its progenitor state, including RNAseq, FlowCytometer, immunostainings, and rtPCR. Significantly, it can be induced to gain differentiation maturity through contact inhibition. In addition, a BAK-mediated rabbit model of corneal endothelial dystrophy was established in the present study to test the therapeutic effectiveness of the iHCEPLC. RESULTS: After inducing cell fate conversion, the specific HCEC markers were detected by rtPCR and immunostaining in iHCEPLC. Further, RNAseq was applied to distinguish its progenitor-like cell fate from primary human corneal endothelial cells (HECE). FlowCytometry profiled the heterogeneity subpopulation, consistently displaying a subtle difference from primary HCEC. A terminal differentiation can be induced in iHCEPLC, addressing its progenitor-like fate. iHCEPLC can restore the BAK-based rabbit model of corneal endothelial dystrophy. Immunohistochemistry verified that such acuity restoration of the BAK-treated cornea is due to the introduced iHCEPLC, and such therapeutic effectiveness is observed in the long term. CONCLUSION: Here, we demonstrated that customized iHCEPLC has long-term therapeutic efficacy. As a progenitor cell, our iHCEPLC has a restricted cell lineage nature and can proliferate in vitro, supporting sufficient therapeutic candidate cells. Due to the immune-privileged nature of the cornea, our iHCEPLC proves the principle of therapeutical feasibility in both autogenic and allogeneic modalities.

Background: Antithrombotic agents are used after free-flap surgery to prevent thrombus formation and improve flap outcomes. However, the reports vary. Therefore, this meta-analysis aimed to elucidate the need for antithrombotic agents in this context. Methods: We searched for studies that compared the outcomes of patients undergoing free-flap surgery with or without postoperative antithrombotic agents in the PubMed, Cochrane, and ClinicalTrials.gov databases. The primary outcome was total flap failure, with secondary outcomes including partial flap failure, pedicle thrombosis, and bleeding/hematoma. The relative risks (RRs) of outcomes with or without antithrombotic use were evaluated. Results: Fifteen studies (n = 6755 cases) were included. Antithrombotic agents did not reduce flap failure or pedicle thrombosis risks but increased bleeding and hematoma risks (RR, 1.535). Subgroup analyses by antiplatelet and anticoagulant use demonstrated results similar to those of antithrombotic use. The RR of bleeding/hematoma was 1.761 and 2.740 in the antiplatelet and anticoagulant groups, respectively. Postoperative dextran-40 administration reduced the risk of partial flap failure, with an RR of 0.535. Conclusions: Postoperative antithrombotic, antiplatelet, or anticoagulant use did not change the risk of total/partial flap failure or pedicle thrombosis but increased the risk of hematoma/bleeding. Postoperative use of dextran-40 reduced the risk of partial flap failure. Increased intraflap blood flow may decrease the risk of partial flap failure. However, dextran-40 may cause severe pulmonary distress. Further prospective studies are required to evaluate the effects of these agents on thrombus formation, intraflap blood flow, and partial flap failure risk.

The Chanwuyi Lifestyle Medicine Program (CLMP) was found to enhance the memory and executive functions of older adults with or without subjective memory complaints. The present study investigated whether similar beneficial effects can be extended to mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Twenty-four older adults with MCI were randomly assigned to receive the CLMP (the experimental group) or strategic memory training (SMT; the active control group) for 10 weeks. They were assessed by neuropsychological tests at baseline and post-intervention. Older adults showed similar visual and verbal memory improvements after receiving the CLMP and SMT. Yet, only those who received the CLMP showed distinct improvements in planning/organization, working memory, and attention in terms of accuracy, with greater cognitive gains associated with older age and lower levels of education and baseline cognitive functions. This study provides preliminary evidence for the effects of the CLMP on improving memory, attention, and executive functions in MCI.

[FeFe] hydrogenases demonstrate remarkable catalytic efficiency in hydrogen evolution and oxidation processes. However, susceptibility of enzymes to oxygen-induced degradation impedes their practical deployment in hydrogen-production devices and fuel cells. Recent investigations into the oxygen-stable (Hinact) state of the H-cluster revealed its inherent capacity to resist oxygen degradation. Herein, we present findings on Cl-/SH-bound [2Fe-2S] complexes, bearing relevance to the oxygen-stable state within a biological context. A characteristic attribute of these complexes is the terminal Cl-/SH- ligation to the iron bearing the CO bridge. Structural analysis of the t-Cl demonstrates a striking resemblance to the Hinact state of DdHydAB and CbA5H. The t-Cl/t-SH exhibit reversible oxidation, with both redox species, electronically, being the first biomimetic analogs to the Htrans and Hinact states. These complexes exhibit notable resistance against oxygen-induced decomposition, supporting the potential oxygen-resistant nature of the Htrans and Hinact states. The swift reductive release of the Cl-/SH- demonstrates its labile and kinetically controlled binding. The findings garnered from these investigations offer valuable insights into properties of the enzymatic O2-stable state, and key factors governing deactivation and reactivation conversion. This work contributes to advancement of bio-inspired molecular catalysts and integration of enzymes and artificial catalysts into H2-evolution devices and fuel-cell applications.

BACKGROUND: Vitamin D deficiency has been linked with several adverse maternal and fetal outcomes. OBJECTIVE: To summarize systematic reviews and meta-analyses evaluating the effects of vitamin D deficiency and of vitamin D supplementation in pregnancy on maternal and offspring health-related outcomes. METHODS: Prior to conducting this umbrella review, we registered the protocol in PROSPERO (CRD42022368003). We conducted searches in PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library for systematic reviews and meta-analyses on vitamin D in pregnancy, from database inception to October 2, 2023. All outcomes related to vitamin D in pregnancy obtained from the systematic reviews and meta-analyses were extracted. DATA EXTRACTION: Two reviewers independently chose studies and collected information on health outcomes. The quality of the included articles' methodology was assessed using AMSTAR 2 (A Measurement Tool to Assess Systematic Reviews-2). RESULTS: We identified 16 eligible systematic reviews and meta-analyses, which included 250,569 women. Our results demonstrated that vitamin D deficiency in pregnancy is associated with increased risk of preterm birth, small-for gestational age/low birth weight infants, recurrent miscarriage, bacterial vaginosis and gestational diabetes mellitus. Vitamin D supplementation in pregnancy increases birth weight, and reduces the risk of maternal pre-eclampsia, miscarriage, and vitamin D deficiency, fetal or neonatal mortality, as well as attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, and autism spectrum disorder in childhood. In women with gestational diabetes mellitus, vitamin D supplementation in pregnancy can reduce the risk of maternal hyperbilirubinemia, polyhydramnios, macrosomia, fetal distress, and neonatal hospitalization. CONCLUSION: Due to the association with adverse maternal and offspring health outcomes, we recommend the vitamin D status in pregnancy should be monitored, particularly in women at high risk of vitamin D deficiency. It is suggested that pregnant women take a dose of >400 IU/day of vitamin D supplementation during pregnancy to prevent certain adverse outcomes.

Graphene has received much scientific attention as an electrode material for lithium-ion batteries because of its extraordinary physical and electrical properties. However, the lack of structural control and restacking issues have hindered its application as carbon-based anode materials for next generation lithium-ion batteries. To improve its performance, several modification approaches such as edge-functionalization and electron-donating/withdrawing substitution have been considered as promising strategies. In addition, group 7A elements have been recognized as critical elements due to their electronegativity and electron-withdrawing character, which are able to further improve the electronic and structural properties of materials. Herein, we elucidated the chemistry of nanographenes with edge-substituted group 7A elements as lithium-ion battery anodes. The halogenated nanographenes were synthesized via bottom-up organic synthesis to ensure the structural control. Our study reveals that the presence of halogens on the edge of nanographenes not only tunes the structural and electronic properties but also impacts the material stability, reactivity, and Li+ storage capability. Further systematic spectroscopic studies indicate that the charge polarization caused by halogen atoms could regulate the Li+ transport, charge transfer energy, and charge storage behavior in nanographenes. Overall, this study provides a new molecular design for nanographene anodes aiming for next-generation lithium-ion batteries.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Community support has a profound positive impact on older people's health and plays a crucial role in facilitating aging in place. This impact is particularly significant in the Chinese context, where community support can alleviate the pressure on traditional family caregiving. This study translated, adapted, and validated the perceived community support questionnaire (PCSQ) for use with older Chinese. RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS: Data for this validation study were collected from a cross-sectional survey of 1,064 Chinese aged 65 years and above. Following the cultural adaptation of the PCSQ-14, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was conducted to examine its factor structure. Criterion validity, convergent and discriminant validity, internal consistency reliability, and test-retest reliability of the scale were also assessed. RESULTS: Based on the CFA results, the adapted PCSQ-14 was found to have a 3-factor solution for community integration, community participation, and community organizations. The criterion-related validity was supported by its significant correlation with depression. Convergent and discriminant validity were established, with the internal consistency of the scale being 0.90. The test-retest reliability intraclass correlation coefficient for the scale was 0.78. DISCUSSION AND IMPLICATIONS: The adapted version of the PCSQ-14 demonstrated promising psychometric properties in assessing perceived community support in older Chinese. The adapted PCSQ-14 could assist researchers in determining older Chinese adults' perceptions of community support, and could also assist practitioners and policymakers in developing targeted services for older people and allocating resources more effectively.

OBJECTIVES: Older-adult migrants constitute a proportion of the global population, and loneliness hinders their adaptation to host areas. However, review studies on risk factors for loneliness target general older-adults without focusing on older-adult migrants. Therefore, this study systematically reviews and synthesizes the factors influencing the loneliness of older-adult migrants. METHOD: Five databases were searched and screened for quantitative studies investigating the relationship between risk factors and loneliness among older-adult migrants (over age 50). Finally, 35 articles were included. RESULTS: Factors related to loneliness in older-adult migrants were synthesized into sociodemographic, physical health, psychological, interpersonal, and acculturation-related factors. Consistent significant relationships with loneliness were found for a few risk factors, including not having spouses, low subjective financial status, poor self-rated health, poor psychological status, few non-kin ties, low quality of kin and non-kin ties, and a weak sense of belonging to either one's ethnic group or that of the host areas. CONCLUSION: This review discusses the unique findings on the risk factors for loneliness in older-adult migrants. Additionally, the current literature on loneliness in older-adult migrants has some research gaps, calling for longitudinal studies with a rigorous design.

Home and community-based services (HCBS) for older adults have been promoted worldwide to address the growing problems of aging. This systematic review included 59 studies published from 2013 to 2023 to explore factors influencing the utilization of HCBS among older adults. The review identified 15 common factors grouped into four levels of influence: individual, inter-relationship, community, and social contextual levels. The findings suggest that HCBS utilization is a dynamic process influenced by multiple factors at different levels. Gerontological social work should incorporate ecological thinking to improve practice and strengthen caregiver-recipient relationships.

Light triggers an enhancement of global translation during photomorphogenesis in Arabidopsis, but little is known about the underlying mechanisms. The phosphorylation of the α-subunit of eukaryotic initiation factor 2 (eIF2α) at a conserved serine residue in the N-terminus has been shown as an important mechanism for the regulation of protein synthesis in mammalian and yeast cells. However, whether the phosphorylation of this residue in plant eIF2α plays a role in regulation of translation remains elusive. Here, we show that the quadruple mutant of SUPPRESSOR OF PHYA-105 family members (SPA1-SPA4) display repressed translation efficiency after light illumination. Moreover, SPA1 directly phosphorylates the eIF2α C-terminus under light conditions. The C-term-phosphorylated eIF2α promotes translation efficiency and photomorphogenesis, whereas the C-term-unphosphorylated eIF2α results in a decreased translation efficiency. We also demonstrate that the phosphorylated eIF2α enhances ternary complex assembly by promoting its affinity to eIF2ß and eIF2γ. This study reveals a unique mechanism by which light promotes translation via SPA1-mediated phosphorylation of the C-terminus of eIF2α in plants.

Fusarium wilt is a worldwide soil-borne fungal disease caused by Fusarium oxysporum that causes serious damage to agricultural products. Therefore, preventing and treating fusarium wilt is of great significance. In this study, we purified ten single lipopeptide fengycin components from Bacillus subtilis FAJT-4 and found that C17 fengycin B inhibited the growth of F. oxysporum FJAT-31362. We observed early apoptosis hallmarks, including reactive oxygen species accumulation, mitochondrial dysfunction, and phosphatidylserine externalization in C17 fengycin B-treated F. oxysporum cells. Further data showed that C17 fengycin B induces cell apoptosis in a metacaspase-dependent manner. Importantly, we found that the expression of autophagy-related genes in the TOR signaling pathway was significantly upregulated; simultaneously, the accumulation of acidic autophagy vacuoles in F. oxysporum cell indicated that the autophagy pathway was activated during apoptosis induced by C17 fengycin B. Therefore, this study provides new insights into the antifungal mechanism of fengycin.

Malaria eradication efforts prioritize safe and efficient vaccination strategies, although none with high-level efficacy against malaria infection are yet available. Among several vaccine candidates, Sanaria® PfSPZ Vaccine and Sanaria PfSPZ-CVac are, respectively, live radiation- and chemo-attenuated sporozoite vaccines designed to prevent infection with Plasmodium falciparum, the leading cause of malaria-related morbidity and mortality. We are conducting a randomized normal saline placebo-controlled trial called IDSPZV1 that will analyze the safety, tolerability, immunogenicity, and efficacy of PfSPZ Vaccine and PfSPZ-CVac administered pre-deployment to malaria-naive Indonesian soldiers assigned to temporary duties in a high malaria transmission area. We describe the manifold challenges of enrolling and immunizing 345 soldier participants at their home base in western Indonesia before their nearly 6,000-km voyage to eastern Indonesia, where they are being monitored for incident P. falciparum and Plasmodium vivax malaria cases during 9 months of exposure. The unique regulatory, ethical, and operational complexities of this trial demonstrate the importance of thorough planning, frequent communication, and close follow-up with stakeholders. Effective engagement with the military community and the ability to adapt to unanticipated events have proven key to the success of this trial.

Murine typhus is a flea-borne disease caused by Rickettsia typhi infection. The disease is a notifiable infectious disease in Taiwan. Specimens from suspected cases are required to be sent to the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for laboratory diagnosis. In this study, 204 cases of murine typhus were identified by bacterial isolation, real-time polymerase chain reaction, or indirect immunofluorescence assay between 2013 and 2020. The average incidence rate was 0.11/100,000 person-years (95% CI: 0.08-0.13). Murine typhus occurred throughout the year, but it was most prevalent in summer (May to August). The majority of patients were males (75%), residents of Kaohsiung city (31%), and worked in agriculture, forestry, fishing, and animal husbandry (27%). Fever was the most common symptom, present in 95.6% of patients, followed by headache (41%), myalgia (33%), and liver dysfunction (33%). Only 13% of patients had a rash. Up to 80% of cases were among hospitalized patients, and 43% of patients developed severe manifestations. Serological assays also indicated coinfection events. Seven patients showed a 4-fold increase in antibody titers against Orientia tsutsugamushi (N = 2), Coxiella burnetii (n = 2), and Leptospira (N = 3). In conclusion, murine typhus is an endemic and important zoonotic rickettsial disease in Taiwan that cannot be ignored. Further epidemiological surveillance and clinical characteristics should be continuously investigated to prevent and control murine typhus.

BACKGROUND: Predicting suicide is a pressing issue among older adults; however, predicting its risk is difficult. Capitalizing on the recent development of machine learning, considerable progress has been made in predicting complex behavior such as suicide. As depression remained the strongest risk for suicide, we aimed to apply deep learning algorithms to identify suicidality in a group with late-life depression (LLD). METHODS: We enrolled 83 patients with LLD, 35 of which were non-suicidal and 48 were suicidal, including 26 with only suicidal ideation and 22 with past suicide attempts, for resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Cross-sample entropy (CSE) analysis was conducted to examine the complexity of MRI signals among brain regions. Three-dimensional (3D) convolutional neural networks (CNNs) were used, and the classification accuracy in each brain region was averaged to predict suicidality after sixfold cross-validation. RESULTS: We found brain regions with a mean accuracy above 75% to predict suicidality located mostly in default mode, fronto-parietal, and cingulo-opercular resting-state networks. The models with right amygdala and left caudate provided the most reliable accuracy in all cross-validation folds, indicating their neurobiological importance in late-life suicide. CONCLUSION: Combining CSE analysis and the 3D CNN, several brain regions were found to be associated with suicidality.

ETHYLENE RESPONSE FACTOR 1 (ERF1) plays an important role in integrating hormone crosstalk and stress responses. Previous studies have shown that ERF1 is unstable in the dark and its degradation is mediated by UBIQUITIN-CONJUGATING ENZYME 18. However, whether there are other enzymes regulating ERF1's stability remains unclear. Here, we use various in vitro and in vivo biochemical, genetic and stress-tolerance tests to demonstrate that both CONSTITUTIVE PHOTOMORPHOGENIC 1 (COP1) and SUMO-CONJUGATING ENZYME 1 (SCE1) regulate the stability of ERF1. We also performed transcriptomic analyses to understand their common regulatory pathways. We show that COP1 mediates ERF1 ubiquitination in the dark while SCE1 mediates ERF1 sumoylation in the light. ERF1 stability is positively regulated by SCE1 and negatively regulated by COP1. Upon abiotic stress, SCE1 plays a positive role in stress defence by regulating the expression of ERF1's downstream stress-responsive genes, whereas COP1 plays a negative role in stress response. Moreover, ERF1 also promotes photomorphogenesis and the expression of light-responsive genes. Our study reveals the molecular mechanism of how COP1 and SCE1 counteract to regulate ERF1's stability and light-stress signalling crosstalk.

OBJECTIVES: In early-stage oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) patients, whether the margin-to-depth-of-invasion ratio (MDR) can assist in stratifying the prognosis remains unclear. METHODS: Patients diagnosed with early stage OSCC at National Taiwan University Hospital between January 2007 and December 2021 were reviewed. Patients with margin > 1 mm were classified into two groups: MDR < 0.5 and MDR ≥ 0.5. RESULTS: We analyzed 911 pT1-2N0M0 OSCC patients, 723 (79.36 %) with MDR ≥ 0.5 and 188 (20.64 %) with MDR < 0.5. Patients in the MDR < 0.5 group displayed a significantly higher local recurrence rate (odds ratio 2.81, p = 0.002) compared with MDR ≥ 0.5 group. The 5-year disease-free survival were 80.8 % for clear margin, 76.3 % for close margin (MDR ≥ 0.5), and 65.2 % for close margin (MDR < 0.5). The overall survival displayed a similar pattern, with 5-year rates of 88.3 % for clear margin, 86.8 % for close margin (MDR ≥ 0.5), and 75.0 % for close margin (MDR < 0.5). There were no significant overall survival differences between the two MDR ≥ 0.5 groups, but both were significantly superior to patients with MDR < 0.5 (p = 0.001; p = 0.01). After multivariant cox analysis, MDR < 0.5 was a significant risk factor for disease-free survival (p < 0.001). CONCLUSION: For early stage OSCC patients without positive margin (≦1mm), the survival outcome between MDR ≥ 0.5 group and MDR < 0.5 group was significantly different. The MDR < 0.5 group had significantly higher risk of local recurrence that may warrant adjuvant treatment.

With the increase of sustainable development goal, the bio-based adsorption materials with high and selective dye removal are important for water treatment in the dyeing industry. In this paper, a bio-based adsorption foam composed of metal-organic frameworks (MOF) and polyethyleneimine (PEI)-modified cellulose was prepared by a three-step process, i.e., PEI modification of cellulose fibers (PC), MOF decoration of PEI-modified cellulose (MIL-53@PC), and in-situ foaming with polyurethane. PEI modification provides cellulose fiber with more active sites for both dye adsorption and MOF bonding. We found that MIL-53 crystals were tightly bonded on the surface of PC through hydrogen bonding. Because of the abundant adsorption sites (e.g., amines, iron oxide group), the MIL-53@PC demonstrated high adsorption capacity and selectivity for anionic dye (e.g., 936.5 mg/g for methyl orange) through electrostatic interaction and hydrogen bonding. Finally, MIL-53@PC particles were blended with a waterborne polyurethane prepolymer to prepare a three-dimensional hydrophilic foam (MIL-53@PC/PUF), which not only maintained high adsorption capacity and selectivity of MIL-53@PC and also improved its recyclability and reusability. The MIL-53@PC/PUF offers a promising solution for dye wastewater treatment.

The aqueous zinc-ion battery is promising as grid scale energy storage device, but hindered by the instable electrode/electrolyte interface. Herein, we report the lean-water ionic liquid electrolyte for aqueous zinc metal batteries. The lean-water ionic liquid electrolyte creates the hydrophobic tri-layer interface assembled by first two layers of hydrophobic OTF- and EMIM+ and third layer of loosely attached water, beyond the classical Gouy-Chapman-Stern theory based electrochemical double layer. By taking advantage of the hydrophobic tri-layer interface, the lean-water ionic liquid electrolyte enables a wide electrochemical working window (2.93 V) with relatively high zinc ion conductivity (17.3 mS/cm). Furthermore, the anion crowding interface facilitates the OTF- decomposition chemistry to create the mechanically graded solid electrolyte interface layer to simultaneously suppress the dendrite formation and maintain the mechanical stability. In this way, the lean-water based ionic liquid electrolyte realizes the ultralong cyclability of over 10000 cycles at 20 A/g and at practical condition of N/P ratio of 1.5, the cumulated areal capacity reach 1.8 Ah/cm2 , which outperforms the state-of-the-art zinc metal battery performance. Our work highlights the importance of the stable electrode/electrolyte interface stability, which would be practical for building high energy grid scale zinc-ion battery.

Cells in the tumor microenvironment (TME) communicate via membrane-bound and secreted proteins, which are mostly glycosylated. Altered glycomes of malignant tumors influence behaviors of stromal cells. In this study, we showed that the loss of core-1 ß1,3-galactosyltransferase (C1GALT1)-mediated O-glycosylation suppressed tumor growth in syngeneic head and neck cancer mouse models. O-glycan truncation in tumor cells promoted the M1 polarization of macrophages, enhanced T-cell-mediated cytotoxicity, and reduced interleukin-6 (IL-6) levels in the secretome. Proteasomal degradation of IL-6 was controlled by the O-glycan at threonine 166. Both IL-6/IL-6R blockade and O-glycan truncation in tumor cells induced similar pro-inflammatory phenotypes in macrophages and cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs). The combination of the O-glycosylation inhibitor itraconazole and anti-programmed cell death protein 1 (anti-PD-1) antibody effectively suppressed tumor growth in vivo. Collectively, our findings demonstrate that O-glycosylation in tumor cells governs their crosstalk with macrophages and CTLs. Thus, targeting O-glycosylation successfully reshapes the TME and consequently enhances the efficacy of anti-PD-1 therapy.
