[The evaluation of the mechanism of intracerebral parenchymatous hemorrhages under different types of dynamic loads on the brain]. / Otsenka mekhanizma vnutrimozgovykh parenkhimatoznykh krovoizliianii pri razlichnykh vidakh dinamicheskikh nagruzok golovnogo mozga.

Possible mechanisms of intracerebral hemorrhages in craniocerebral injuries are analyzed. Comprehensive pathomorphological, topographoanatomical, and expert studies helped the authors disclose the biophysical processes in the cranial cavity. These processes act as internal damaging factors and underlie the formation of intracerebral hemorrhages. The authors discuss the role of tension and cutting deformations of cerebral structures in development of cerebral hemorrhages and the significance of topographic and anatomic features of the base of the skull and discrete cavitation in cerebral tissue occurring in total deformations of the skull. Relationship between morphology and topography of intracerebral hemorrhages and the site of impact and direction of the damaging force is considered.

[Cathepsin activity in the myocardium and skeletal muscles as a sign of the time of death]. / Aktivnost' katepsinov v miokarde i skeletnykh myshtsakh kak priznak davnosti nastupleniia smerti.

Determination of postmortem interval according to the time course of cathepsins activity within 5 days since death was carried out using myocardium and skeletal muscles of white breedless rats and cadavers of people who died of craniocerebral trauma. Natural time course of changes in cathepsins activity was determined which makes it possible to use these values as one of criteria in determination of postmortem interval.
