There are many instruments to prick the comedone before its extraction and scalp during hair transplantation. These instruments are not well guarded, and it can cause deep injury and fear in the patients. Here we described how to guard these needle for safety during procedure.

Plane viral warts on the face can be difficult to treat at times. Various treatment approaches for facial viral warts have had variable degrees of effectiveness. In contrast, the majority of existing treatments are more costly, painful, and difficult to manage. In approximately 15.6% of instances, retinoic acid (0.05%) is also ineffective. It is very difficult to cure warts on the face at a young age. In pyogenic granuloma, table salt (NaCl) is useful as a sclerosing agent, and its hypertonic solution (15%) is effective in prolabial mucoceles. The aim of treating viral warts is to necrose infected cells and sclerose or thrombose their feeding capillaries at the wart's base.

Sealing of Follicular Openings in Keloid with Cyanoacrylate Glue for Effective Intralesional Therapy.

Intralesional therapy is a common treatment for keloid. However, because of some follicular openings and comedones on the surface of the keloid on the hairy chest and acne keloidalis, there is a risk of drug leakage, and sometimes ejection of drugs like a jet spray leads to therapy being ineffective. The authors describe a novel and effective method for preventing drug loss from follicular openings during intralesional therapy. To prevent drug loss during intralesional injection, cyanoacrylate glue is applied to the follicular and comedone openings on the keloid's surface.

During this period for cosmetic procedure on the face, the mask should be of small size and easily procured to maximize the exposure of the face especially in girls going to get married having hirsutism. Surgical Pearl: Simple Techniques for Achieving Hemostasis on Digital Lesions.

The fingers are highly vascular sites which bleeds profusely during procedure. Penrose drain and gasket are not readily available in the clinic. For this problem, we advocated the use of hand gloves and cotton gauze to achieve haemostasis at the site of finger.

Hypodermic Needle as a Safe and Easy Mini Cotton Bud Applicator for Chemical Cautery.

To simplify the chemical cautery, micropipette and syringe outlet are stuffed with cotton wick for a better flow of chemical due to capillary action. However, the corrosive effect of chemicals on metallic needle and on rubber/plastic cap of the piston leads to the leakage of chemicals. Hypodermic needle and tooth picks have been used for chemical cautery, but it requires frequent dipping into the chemical, which is not safe. A bent (hooked) hypodermic needle is described as an alternative for safe, quick, and precise cauterization of multiple small skin lesions.
