A 43-year-old woman was referred; she had felt an abdominal mass on her left side. Imaging showed a cystic lesion. The lesion was removed via laparotomy. Pathological examination showed a benign mucinous cyst.

A 77-year-old man had a dark lesion on the palate. The lesion was found when fitting a new set of dentures. Except ill-fitting false teeth, the man had no complaints. Examination of a biopsy revealed a melanoma. The palate was surgically removed.
