RESUMO

Fake face identity is a serious, potentially fatal issue that affects every industry from the banking and finance industry to the military and mission-critical applications. This is where the proposed system offers artificial intelligence (AI)-based supported fake face detection. The models were trained on an extensive dataset of real and fake face images, incorporating steps like sampling, preprocessing, pooling, normalization, vectorization, batch processing and model training, testing-, and classification via output activation. The proposed work performs the comparative analysis of the three fusion models, which can be integrated with Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN) based on the performance evaluation. The Model-3, which contains the combination of DenseNet-201+ResNet-102+Xception, offers the highest accuracy of 0.9797, and the Model-2 with the combination of DenseNet-201+ResNet-50+Inception V3 offers the lowest loss value of 0.1146; both are suitable for the GAN integration. Additionally, the Model-1 performs admirably, with an accuracy of 0.9542 and a loss value of 0.1416. A second dataset was also tested where the proposed Model-3 provided maximum accuracy of 86.42% with a minimum loss of 0.4054.

RESUMO

Recently, research into Wireless Body-Area Sensor Networks (WBASN) or Wireless Body-Area Networks (WBAN) has gained much importance in medical applications, and now plays a significant role in patient monitoring. Among the various operations, routing is still recognized as a resource-intensive activity. As a result, designing an energy-efficient routing system for WBAN is critical. The existing routing algorithms focus more on energy efficiency than security. However, security attacks will lead to more energy consumption, which will reduce overall network performance. To handle the issues of reliability, energy efficiency, and security in WBAN, a new cluster-based secure routing protocol called the Secure Optimal Path-Routing (SOPR) protocol has been proposed in this paper. This proposed algorithm provides security by identifying and avoiding black-hole attacks on one side, and by sending data packets in encrypted form on the other side to strengthen communication security in WBANs. The main advantages of implementing the proposed protocol include improved overall network performance by increasing the packet-delivery ratio and reducing attack-detection overheads, detection time, energy consumption, and delay.

RESUMO

The impact analysis of deep learning models for COVID-19-infected X-ray images is an extremely challenging task. Every model has unique capabilities that can provide suitable solutions for some given problem. The prescribed work analyzes various deep learning models that are used for capturing the chest X-ray images. Their performance-defining factors, such as accuracy, f1-score, training and the validation loss, are tested with the support of the training dataset. These deep learning models are multi-layered architectures. These parameters fluctuate based on the behavior of these layers, learning rate, training efficiency, or over-fitting of models. This may in turn introduce sudden changes in the values of training accuracy, testing accuracy, loss or validation loss, f1-score, etc. Some models produce linear responses with respect to the training and testing data, such as Xception, but most of the models provide a variation of these parameters either in the accuracy or the loss functions. The prescribed work performs detailed experimental analysis of deep learning image neural network models and compares them with the above said parameters with detailed analysis of these parameters with their responses regarding accuracy and loss functions. This work also analyses the suitability of these model based on the various parameters, such as the accuracy and loss functions to various applications. This prescribed work also lists out various challenges on the implementation and experimentation of these models. Solutions are provided for enhancing the performance of these deep learning models. The deep learning models that are used in the prescribed work are Resnet, VGG16, Resnet with VGG, Inception V3, Xception with transfer learning, and CNN. The model is trained with more than 1500 images of the chest-X-ray data and tested with around 132 samples of the X-ray image dataset. The prescribed work analyzes the accuracy, f1-score, recall, and precision of these models and analyzes these parameters. It also measures parameters such as training accuracy, testing accuracy, loss, and validation loss. Each epoch of every model is recorded to measure the changes in these parameters during the experimental analysis. The prescribed work provides insight for future research through various challenges and research findings with future directions.
