Capillary hemangiomas are hamartomatous proliferation of vascular endothelial cells, usually presenting in infancy or are age-related (senile). These tend to affect the head and neck regions. Herein, we report a rare cause of hand nodules: post-traumatic capillary hemangioma.

STUDY DESIGN: Case report. OBJECTIVES: To report a rare cause of spinal subdural hematoma. SETTING: A tertiary care university hospital in Andhra Pradesh, India. METHODS: Detailed evaluation and reporting of a case admitted in the hospital. RESULTS: A case of antiphospholipid antibody syndrome (APS) was found to present with spontaneous spinal subdural hematoma and paraplegia. This is a very rare presentation of APS. CONCLUSION: This article describes a rare case of APS presenting with disseminated bleeding and spontaneous spinal subdural hematoma, resulting in paraplegia.

The development of malignancy in the setting of pre-existing connective tissue disease is well known. We report two cases of rheumatoid arthritis who developed malignancy--multiple myeloma in one of them and carcinoma cervix in the other. Case 1 was a 62 year old man, who developed multiple myeloma three years after the onset of rheumatoid arthritis. Case 2 was a 61 year old female with history of rheumatoid arthritis for two years and who developed carcinoma cervix.
