RESUMO
The authors measured the changes of hemodynamics in 72 patients. It was also estimated a blood oxygenation and volume of liquid sectors of the organism in different degree of obesity before and after liposuction of the large volume. It was shown, that this operation facilitated to an improvement of respiratory lung function due to changes of pulmonary circulation.

The effect of cytoflavin upon bolus intravenous administration on the state of hemodynamic values and liquid sectors of the organism was studied in patients with toxicohypoxic encephalopathy caused by heavy acute poisoning. It is established that the bolus administration of cytoflavin is less effective than dropwise intravenous injection.

Examination of 784 patients with acute intoxication with neurotropic agents yielded criteria for a risk of acute lung injury in this pathology and methods for diagnosing and treating this complication.

The paper presents the results of examination and treatment of 147 patients in the early phase of severe acute intoxications with neurotropic poisons. The use of the methods of assessing the bioelectrical activity of the brain has been found to objectively evaluate the degree of CNS suppression, to clarify the nature of the damaging action of a toxic agent, and to evaluate the efficiency of therapy. The use of cytoflavin in intensive care for cerebral hypoxic lesions has been shown to substantially decrease the degree of brain lesions.

An investigation of the state of volumes of the organism's fluid sectors (general, extra- and intracellular fluid) by a noninvasive method of double-frequency impedancemetry has revealed the influence of preoperative preparing the patients and restriction of the water regimen after operation upon the development of moderate dehydration of the extracellular sector. During the operation lasting about an hour the intravenous administration of 400 ml of crystalloid solutions maintains the volumes of fluid sectors within the due values. These solutions injected in greater volumes result in accumulation of the extra- and intracellular fluid. The antiperistaltic purgation of the intestine before the operation reduces the concentration of calcium in blood by 1 mmol/l at an average.

The investigation performed in 48 patients have shown that following partial resection of lungs the development of arterial hypoxemia is observed being most pronounced within the first day after surgical intervention and is partly resolved by the 10th day of the postoperative period. The hypoxemia degree closely correlates with the level of expiratory closure of the respiratory tracts.
