RESUMO

The authors studied the peculiarities of the course taken by experimental gastric ulcer in rabbits under the effect of the norepinephrine precursor 1-dioxyphenylalanine (L-DOPA) injected parenterally in a dose of 10 mg/kg twice a day for 14 days. As compared to the controls (nontreated ulcer), L-DOPA restored significantly more rapidly the bioenergetic processes in the gastric mucosa which were disturbed as the result of ulcerogenesis, provided for stimulation of reparative regeneration, and reduced the terms of ulcer cicatrization.

RESUMO

It has been shown that the development of destructive lesions of the duodenal wall induced by stress action on the body of the experimental animal is attended by a decrease of the content of creatine phosphate and noradrenaline in homogenate of the duodenal tissue. The use of tyrosine, a precursor of catecholamine biosynthesis, both as a pharmacologic agent and as a component of rich in this amino-acid product-dried milk, resulted in normalization of the biochemical parameters studied and in significant diminution of destructive lesions of the duodenal wall.

RESUMO

In the experiments on rats the peptic ulcer of duodenum was simulated by means of mechanic compression of reflexogenic zones of pylorus and intestine. The destruction of duodenal mucosa was developed in 3-4 hours after the compression and retained in the course of 5-6 days. Piracetam (200 mg/kg) and etimizol (3 mg/kg) eliminated and cimetidine (25 mg/kg), solcoseryl (0.5 mg/kg) and metacine (5 mg/kg) diminished the destruction after the course of 6 injections of each drug with an interval of 10-12 hours. Therapeutic effects of piracetam and etimizol correlated with their ability to return towards normal concentration of creatine phosphate.

RESUMO

The adrenergic section of the vegetative pancreatic innervation has been examined, using morphological, histochemical and biochemical methods, during neurogenic injury, acute experimental pancreatitis and alloxan diabetes. It has been established that the development of those etiologically different processes was accompanied by catecholamine level reduction in the adrenergic structures of the pancreas which can be prevented by ganglioblockers. It is concluded that sympathetic nervous system participates in etiopathogenesis of a number of pancreatic diseases and that it is possible to prevent and treat them with sympathotropic agents.

RESUMO

Experimental neurogenous injury to the rabbit pancreas was used to show that mechanical traumatization of the pyloroduodenal region leads to a considerable decrease in the creatine phosphate content and to the rise in the level of lactic acid in the gland tissue. Pharmacological analysis of the changes obtained demonstrated the reflex nature of the injury under consideration. High doses of noradrenaline were also found to cause pronounced metabolic alterations in the pancreatic tissue.

RESUMO

Metabolism of the rat brain was examined during the development of reflex gastric dystrophy. This affection gave rise to the disturbances in energy metabolism in the redox processes, and in the genetic cellular activity of brain tissue. The evidence obtained indicate the changes in the brain trophic processes in the course of the development of visceral pathology.
