RESUMO
Abstract Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory disease that affects the skin variably, according to genetic and environmental factors. Some patients may benefit from systemic treatment with immunobiological agents, drugs that can be accompanied by several adverse effects. A case of a 58-year-old patient undergoing treatment for psoriasis with adalimumab for five years is reported. Alterations compatible with interstitial pneumonia were detected with important regression after adalimumab discontinuation. This case is relevant due to the scarcity of reports on late pulmonary adverse effect of anti-TNF treatment of psoriasis.

Visceral leishmaniasis (VL) in pregnant is considered rare. We present the case of a woman with 24 gestational weeks presenting fever, hepatosplenomegaly, pancytopenia, and inversion of albumin/globulin ratio. Anti-rK39 was positive and amastigotes were visualized on myelogram. Treatment with LAmB showed disease improvement. The newborn was born healthy at term, with delivery performed without complications. As VL in pregnancy can progress to death and complications for the mother-fetus binomial, inclusion of VL in the differential diagnosis of patients from endemic areas with compatible clinical picture is mandatory. Treatment with LAmB demonstrates safety and high cure rates in pregnancy.

Estima-se que um terço da população mundial adulta seja fumante, sendo que 80% delas estão em países em desenvolvimento, sendo o tabagismo responsável por cerca de 4,9 milhões de óbitos anuais no mundo. Estratégias para o controle do tabagismo precisam ser intensificadas e qualificadas, em especial junto às populações de baixa renda. Nesse sentido a atenção básica ocupa uma posição privilegiada e estratégica para controle do tabaco dentro do Sistema Único de Saúde, devido a sua proximidade ao usuário. Este trabalho discorrerá sobre o desenvolvimento de um grupo de apoio ao combate ao tabagismo na Unidade Básica do Pajuçara, na periferia do município de Natal, Rio Grande do Norte. Promoveu-se um treinamento voltado para que agentes comunitários de saúde atuem na comunidade e em grupos de tabagismo, otimizando a abrangência das ações no território e garantindo a continuidade do trabalho.
