RESUMO

The integration of distributed generation resources in power systems offers various advantages, such as peak load management and reduced transmission line congestion. However, it also introduces challenges related to voltage stability. This paper presents a novel multi-objective model for optimizing the allocation of solar resources in radial distribution systems. The model aims to achieve an optimal voltage profile, minimize losses, and maximize penetration levels. To address the conflicting nature of these objectives, a refined multi-objective slime mold algorithm (MOSMA) is proposed. This algorithm demonstrates exceptional capabilities in finding Pareto fronts, avoiding local optima, and effectively solving multi-objective problems compared to other optimization methods. Additionally, the corrected social hierarchy method is integrated to enhance performance. The proposed method is evaluated using a standard system under various operational conditions, showing superior results in terms of maintaining an acceptable voltage profile and significantly reducing losses. The study reveals that while losses decrease for penetration levels ranging from low to medium, they start to increase for levels exceeding 100 %. Notably, the proposed method achieves approximately 12 % system efficiency improvement, as measured by the voltage profile, at a penetration level of 300 %. These findings highlight the effectiveness of the proposed method, even at high penetration levels, surpassing other optimization approaches based on the inverse generation distance parameter.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Cervical cancer (CC) is the most common gynecological tumor disease in women, which occurs at the junction of cervical squamous columnar epithelium. We investigated the effect and mechanism of transcription factor FOXM1 synergizing RacGAP1 in the proliferation, migration, and invasion of CC cells. METHODS: Here, we analyzed the correlation between FOXM1 and RacGAP1 and the clinicopathological features of 68 CC patients. RT-qPCR was used to assess FOXM1 and RacGAP1 mRNA expression in CC tissues and cells. Cell proliferation was assessed by CCK-8 and EDU assays. Transwell assay was applied to test migration and invasion. Cell apoptosis was evaluated utilizing flow cytometry. ChIP and dual-luciferase reporter assays confirmed the interaction of FOXM1 and RacGAP1. Protein levels of FOXM1 and RacGAP1, as well as PI3K/AKT, were analyzed by Western blot. RESULTS: FOXM1 expression was correlated with FIGO stage and histological grade, and RacGAP1 expression was correlated with histological grade. FOXM1 and RacGAP1 levels were increased in CC tissues, and higher expressed in human CC cell lines than that in an immortalized HPV-negative skin keratinocyte line (HaCaT). Depleted RacGAP1 suppressed CC cell proliferation, migration and invasion, and promoted apoptosis. RacGAP1 was a target gene of FOXM1, and FOXM1 positively regulated RacGAP1 expression. FOXM1 had a synergistic effect with RacGAP1 to exert oncogenic function in CC by activating the PI3K/AKT signaling. CONCLUSION: FOXM1 cooperates with RacGAP1 to induce CC cell proliferation, migration and invasion, inhibit apoptosis, and regulate PI3K/AKT signaling to promote CC progression.

RESUMO

The current collector serves as a crucial element in supercapacitors, acting as a medium between the electrode material and the substrate. Due to its excellent conductivity, a metal collector is typically favored. Enhancing the binding strength between the collector and the substrate as well as between the collector and the electrode material has emerged as a critical factor for enhancing the capacitance performance. In this study, a Ag film with a grass root-like structure was initially grown on a PI substrate through the surface modification and ion exchange (SMIE) process. This Ag interlocking structure contributes to strong binding between the PI substrate and Ag without compromising the mechanical properties of the Ag film. To further enhance the electrochemical properties at low scan rates, electroless-plated Cu was subsequently deposited on the Ag film to form the Cu/Ag current collector. Moreover, the Cu within the Cu/Ag current collector served as a precursor for the growth of FeOOH-Cu(OH)2 via a two-step in situ method. The resulting FeOOH-Cu(OH)2/Cu/Ag structure as a whole is binder-free. Supercapacitors employing symmetric FeOOH-Cu(OH)2/Cu/Ag structures were assembled, and their energy storage properties were investigated. The solution-based low-temperature process used in this study offers the potential for cost-effective and large-scale applications.

RESUMO

The overcrowding of scenic spots not only threatens tourists' safety but also affects the travel experience. Traditional methods for addressing tourist overload have involved limited access and guided evacuation. While limited access has been effective, it often results in a diminished tourist experience. Moreover, the existing guided evacuation rarely considers the impact on tourists' experience, resulting in a low willingness to cooperate and making it difficult to estimate evacuation effort efficiency. To solve these problems, this paper proposed a tourist evacuation route recommendation algorithm based on a graph neural network considering the similarity of tourism styles (PER-GCN) and designed a visualization system to simulate and analyse evacuation efficiency. First, the interaction matrix of tourists and scenic spots was constructed using graph mining to extract the high-order interaction information. In the output layer, the similarity between scenic spots and tourism styles was calculated to further improve the accuracy of scenic spot recommendations. Second, due to route complexity and the real-time carrying capacity of scenic spots, the researchers optimized the evacuation routes. Finally, taking the West Lake spot as the case study, the effectiveness of PER-GCN was verified. Additionally, a visualization system was designed to monitor tourist flow in real time and analyse tourist portraits according to the clustering results of scenic spot styles. In addition, the evacuation efficiency of scenic spots was analysed by adjusting the parameters of tourists' willingness to cooperate, evacuation batch, and the weight of route complexity and scenic spot carrying capacity.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: Though recent studies have pointed out different manifestations between obese and nonobese patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), there is no clear evidence to confirm this viewpoint. Therefore, the metabolic characteristics of obese and nonobese patients with PCOS were systematically compared through meta-analysis in this study. METHODS: Data were searched from PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Cochrane Library, CNKI, and Wanfang databases. Articles on obese and nonobese patients with PCOS published from database inception to January 2022 were included. Meta-analysis was performed using Stata 16.0 statistical software. RESULTS: A total of 739 articles were initially retrieved, and ultimately 14 studies were involved in the meta-analysis. Specifically, there were 801 patients in the observation group (obese patients with PCOS) and 925 patients in the control group (nonobese patients with PCOS). Compared with the control group, the observation group had significantly lower levels of sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG), high-density lipoprotein (HDL), luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), and higher levels of total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), and low-density lipoprotein (LDL). Nevertheless, there were no significant differences between the two groups in systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), glucose, and testosterone. CONCLUSION: Compared with nonobese patients with PCOS, obese patients with PCOS have worse blood lipid parameters and lower levels of LH and FSH. Also, there are significant differences in metabolic characteristics between the two groups of patients. Most importantly, our findings provide guidance for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of PCOS.

RESUMO

Foot & ankle deformity is a chronic disease with high incidence and is best treated in childhood. However, the current diagnostic procedures rely on doctor's consultation and empirical judgment, and lack objective and quantitative evaluation methods, resulting in low screening rates. To solve this problem, this paper aims to construct an evaluation model for children's foot & ankle deformity through data mining and machine learning technologies. Firstly, it proposes the grading rules for children's foot & ankle deformity severity based on analyzing the existing quantitative indexes and expert experience. Then the 3D foot scanner is used to collect the sample data including 30 foot structure indexes. Finally, an advanced sparse multi-objective evolutionary algorithm (sparse MO-FS) is present for feature selection. The effectiveness of the proposed sparse MO-FS and its search efficiency are proved by comparing 8 feature selection methods and 7 search strategies. Using sparse MO-FS, foot length, arch index, ankle index, and hallux valgus index are selected, which not only simplifies the evaluation model but also improves the average classification accuracy of random forest to more than 98%.

RESUMO

A new method of designing horn-fed frequency scanning holographic antenna is proposed. The artificial surface design of holographic antenna is based on generalized law of reflection. The input admittance is utilized to construct the interference pattern of the surface which is intervened by the excitation wave and the required radiation wave. The scalar admittance unit cell which is composed of sub-wavelength metallic patch on grounded dielectric substrate is implemented to design artificial surface, and the simulation results are just as expected that the antenna can scan the beam as the frequency changes. Furthermore, a cross shaped patch printed on grounded dielectric unit cells is used to reduce the designing complexity of tensor admittance surface. At last, a frequency scanning holographic antenna with tensor admittance surface with ability of changing linear polarization excitation wave to left-hand circular polarization (LCP) radiation wave is designed and fabricated. The full-wave simulation and experimental results show well agreement and confirm the method proposed.
