RESUMO

Novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has had a great impact on global production and life in the past period. Countless researchers devoted themselves to rescuing patients and reducing its impact. Analyzing the literature published during the pandemic and identifying the research priorities is of great significance to quickly discover research gaps, rationally allocate scientific research resources, and promote the development of the global research platform. To understand the swing of research priorities during the pandemic, this paper proposed a research priorities identification framework for pandemic based on scientific literature text analysis. Moreover, a research priority metric model was proposed to measure the characteristics of research priorities, and the empirical analysis from COVID-19 scientific literature was conducted to identify the research priorities during the pandemic. As a result, the research priorities identified by the method proposed in this paper discovered the fine-grained dynamic characteristics along with the process in the pandemic outbreak, and based on this, the emergency scientific research response strategies were discussed to give implications for the public health emergency scientific research and management.

RESUMO

Depression is a common mental disease that impacts people of all ages and backgrounds. To meet needs that cannot otherwise be met, people with depression or who tend to suffer from depression often gather in online depression communities. However, since joining a depression community exposes members to the depression of others, the impact of such communities is not entirely clear. This study therefore explored what happens when people with depression gather in Sina Weibo's Depression Super Topic online community. Through website crawling, postings from Depression Super Topic were compared with postings from members' regular timelines with respect to themes, emotions disclosed, activity patterns, and the number of likes and comments. Topics of distilled postings covering support, regulations, emotions and life sharing, and initiating discussions were then coded. From comparison analysis, it was found that postings in the Depression Super Topic community received more comments and disclosed more emotions than regular timelines and that members were more active in the community at night. This study offers a picture of what occurs when people with depression gather online, which helps better understand their issues and therefore provide more targeted support.

RESUMO

Graphene aerogels (GA) hold great promise as a practical adsorbent to remove contaminants from water thanks to their high specific surface area and stable chemical properties. In this work, we demonstrated a strategy by introducing ferrous ions-ammonia borane as a synergistic reducing agent for hydrothermal reduction of graphene oxide to synthesize high-performance graphene aerogel adsorbents. Reducing agent system features four aspects: (1) Ferrous ions themselves as reducing agent, (2) Ferrous ions as catalyst for ammonia borane decomposition to release hydrogen, (3) Released hydrogen as a secondary reducing agent, (4) Involved hydrogen gas bubbles facilitating the formation of pores in GA. As-synthesized GAs exhibited larger specific surface area and smaller pore diameter than only using ferrous ions as reducing agent, which benefit a lot to the adsorption and water cleaning. Adsorption experiments showed that as-synthesized GAs was high efficient in the adsorption of both cationic dye (Rhodamine B) and anionic dye (Orange G) with adsorption capacity as high as 103.6 mg·g-1 and 87.4 mg ·g-1, respectively, which is comparable to the most of state-of-the-art sorbents. The adsorption rate was greatly improved. Besides, the great adsorption performance was not limited to a certain kind of dye which is different from that of most dye adsorbents. Furthermore, kinetic investigations showed the adsorption followed a pseudo-second-order kinetics model, indicating a chemical adsorption. The adsorption isothermal studies revealed that the adsorption process was more likely took place in a monolayer manner. Thanks to the facile synthesis and excellent adsorption performance, the as-prepared GAs can be potentially applied to the practical water treatment.

RESUMO

Perceptions of facial attractiveness are sensitive to emotional expression of the perceived face. However, little is known about whether the emotional expression on the face of another observer of the perceived face may have an effect on perceptions of facial attractiveness. The present study used event-related potential technique to examine social influence of the emotional expression on the face of another observer of the perceived face on perceptions of facial attractiveness. The experiment consisted of two phases. In the first phase, a neutral target face was paired with two images of individuals gazing at the target face with smiling, fearful or neutral expressions. In the second phase, participants were asked to judge the attractiveness of the target face. We found that a target face was more attractive when other observers positively gazing at the target face in contrast to the condition when other observers were negative. Additionally, the results of brain potentials showed that the visual positive component P3 with peak latency from 270 to 330 ms was larger after participants observed the target face paired with smiling individuals than the target face paired with neutral individuals. These findings suggested that facial attractiveness of an individual may be influenced by the emotional expression on the face of another observer of the perceived face.
