El trago accesorio es una malformación congénita del oído externo que puede asociarse con otras anomalías del primer y segundo arcos branquiales.Presentamos un caso de trago accesorio unilateral, localizado en la región preauricular en una niña de 12 años sin historia familiar de malformacionesdel desarrollo. Describimos el desarrollo embriológico, la clínica y las características histopatológicas del caso, remarcando la posible asociación conotras malformaciones de los arcos braquiales (AU)
Accessory tragus is a congenital malformation of the external ear that could be associated with other abnormalities of the first and second branchialarch. A case of a unilateral accessory tragus located in the preauricular region in a 12-year-old girl with no family history of developmental malformationsis reported.The clinical characteristics, embryologic development and histopathologic features are described. This report describes a chromosomal abnormality in an 8-year-old boy with renal adenocarcinoma. All tumor cells had the karyotype 46,XY, t(X;17)(p11.2;q25). This karyotype is compared with the cytogenetic descriptions of renal cell adenocarcinoma in two other pediatric patients and in adults.

We report on two patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in induction chemotherapy, who developed a sepsis which led, in both cases, to death following the appearance of neurological symptoms suggesting CNS affectation. Autopsy revealed an angioinvasive disseminated aspergillosis affecting lungs, brain, myocardium, kidneys, thyroid glands in both cases, and endocardium, urinary bladder, lymph nodes, alimentary tract, nasal sinuses in one of the cases. Microbiology study of necropsic tissue showed Aspergillus flavusoryzae and likewise Candida albicans in one case. The latter finding suggest a combined fungal sepsis caused to candida and aspergillus.
