RESUMO

alpha-Tocopherol, tocopherylquinon jointly with the proteins tocopherol acceptors from cytosole were identified to inhibit the activity of 5-lipoxigenase and so the synthesis of leukotriene A4 at the early stages providing for A4 hydrolase activation and C4 synthesase, as well as accelerate leukotrienes B4 and C4 synthesis at the further stages respectively changing the final spectrum of leukotriens in the organism tissues. Firstly, the leading role of proteins complexes capable to strengthen the effect of alpha-tocopherol and tocopherylquinon on arachidonic acid oxidative metabolism was determined.

RESUMO

While estimating the effect of tocopherol, tocopherylquinone and their complexes with the tocopherol-binding proteins from the rat liver cytosole on arachidonate 5-lipoxygenase from peritoneal-lymphocytes and soybean linoleate-5-lipoxygenase alpha-tocopherol and especially its complex with tocopherol-binding protein was defined to inhibit the activity of both vegetative- and animal nature-lipoxygenase.

RESUMO

Approximate division of biochemical investigations into three components: experimental research, results treatment and modeling, as well as external information filling is made. Computerization of biochemical researches for these components are analyzed and authors developments for experimental researches computerization on IBM-compatible computer basis are presented, as well as the local computer net of biochemistry institute.

RESUMO

A new method of tocopherol and tocopherylquinone binding with rat liver cytosol proteins-acceptors. Complexes tocopherol-proteins-acceptors and tocopheryl-quinone-proteins acceptors have been studied for their effect on phospholipase A2 activity. It is established that the both complexes are the inhibitors of phospholipase A2, under these conditions tocopherylquinone complex with proteins-acceptors more intensively decreases Km of the enzyme than the complex tocopherol-proteins-acceptors.

RESUMO

Content of fatty acids was studied in the blood plasma of rabbits in dynamics of experimental mild craniocerebral injury using gas-liquid chromatography. The content of all the fatty acids studied was markedly increased within the initial periods; then it was decreased down to control values within 2 hrs with the subsequent repeated increase. All these alterations appear to be compensatory body's reactions to the trauma.

RESUMO

Basing on data from literature vitamin E is considered for its possible effect on the exchange of arachidonic acid. It is supposed that vitamin E controls metabolism intensity of arachidonic acid by changing activity of phospholipase A2, cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase.

RESUMO

Content of fatty acids in rabbit brain hemispheres in dynamics of experimental brain concussion was estimated by means of gas liquid chromatography. Content of fatty acids was increased within 15 min after experimental brain concussion and then it decreased reaching minimal values within 7 days. The phenomenon observed is a pathogenetically important factor in the traumatic disease.

RESUMO

Advances in the study of the molecular mechanisms of the pathogenesis of closed craniocerebral trauma (CCCT) which was conducted on an experimental model, a clinical equivalent of CCCT, allow one to form a new view of the course of traumatic disease and its division into periods. The data obtained provide evidence that increase of the pathological process in the posttraumatic period is of a skipping and cascade character. The existence of such breaks makes it possible to distinguish periods with consideration for the pathogenetic essence of the pathological changes. 1. The period of intensified metabolic processes, "conflagration of metabolism". 2. The period of development of energy deficit in the nerve tissue. 3. The period of development of cell intoxication processes and secondary structural changes. 4. The period of formation of posttraumatic homeostasis (a) in the regimen of stable homeostasis, (b) in the regimen of stress and subsequent exhaustion of the activity of adaptation systems with the formation of late-term progressive sequelae.

RESUMO

The studies of ELCCT influence on spontaneous and KCl-stimulated 3H-dopamine release by synaptosomes isolated from the rabbit brain hemispheres and diencephalic-brainstem areas are presented in this paper. Kinetic characteristics of the releasing system (Bm and Vo) were shown to decrease at earlier stages (15 minutes to 2 hrs) and increase at later stages (1 to 14 days). No substantial difference was shown in release responses of the synaptosomes derived from brain hemispheres and diencephalic-brainstem regions. The data suggest the major alterations in the mechanisms of dopamine release in ELCCT.
