RESUMO
The purpose of this humanbecoming hermeneutic sciencing was to discover the emergent meanings in the living quality of humanuniverse, Albert Einstein. The author's dialogue with various media centered on the question: What are the emergent meanings in the living quality of the legendary figure, Albert Einstein? For this humanbecoming hermeneutic sciencing, the works investigated by the author were limited to only three media sources: Einstein Revealed, a public television production; the book that inspired the work, Einstein: His Life and Universe, by Walter Isaacson; and the BBC-DVD video, Einstein and Eddington. There are hundreds of books, essays, films, and other works about Einstein that were not included in this hermeneutic investigation.

The words used in dialogue, published work, and even nursing theory reflect and cocreate meaning. In this column, nurse theorist, Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, and editor Dr. Rosemarie Rizzo Parse reflects on her love of words and writing and how that influenced her work and penchant for precision and clarity. She shares how the meaning of words changed in her humanbecoming worldview and her thoughts on societies' current use of some words and their methods of dialoguing.

The purposes of this paper are to briefly describe the meaning of metaphor from a variety of sources, to show its ubiquitous and creative nature, to share some examples used in common parlance and scholarly works, and to elaborate the meaning of metaphor from a humanbecoming perspective with three metaphorical truths-semantic resonance, coherent integrity, and magical transfiguring. Metaphor is a linguistic way of conveying an idea in poetic language with words and phrases articulated as complete ideas with the use of unusual words that normally have different meanings. Metaphor has been used often in literary narratives and poetry to clarify meaning. Many authors offer ideas about what a metaphor is and how it should be used. Some of those are presented in this article.

The purpose of this paper is to illuminate and elaborate the inherent core knowings of living quality. The core knowings are fortifying wisdom, discerning witness, and penetrating silence. In deep contemplation with the core knowings, essences and paradoxes surfaced for the author enhancing understanding of living quality. The essences and paradoxes are specified here.
