RESUMO

The CRTS I type double-block ballastless track (CRTS I TDBBT) has the advantages of convenient construction and low cost, but it has low crack resistance and the temperature field distribution of the railway on the bridge is uneven and frequently changes, so it is necessary to study the mechanical properties of the CRTS I TDBBT under the load of a temperature field. The temperature field model of the CRTS I TDBBT on the bridge is established by finite element software, the real-time temperature field of the track bed slab is brought into the coupled model as a load, and the variation laws of the temperature stress of the CRTS I TDBBT under different schemes are compared. The temperature gradient in the CRTS I TDBBT track bed slab has the largest fluctuation range, and the positive and negative temperature gradient range can reach 93.34 °C. For the temperature longitudinal stress around the sleeper block of the track bed slab, the edge is the largest; the temperature longitudinal stress is reduced by at most 5.27% after the anti-cracking diagonal bars are added. When the expansion joint is added, the temperature stress can be reduced by up to 80.29%. The fluctuation range of the temperature gradient of the track bed is basically consistent with the fluctuation range of the local air temperature. The huge temperature difference leads to the occurrence of cracks in the track structure, and cracks are more likely to occur at the corners of the sleeper block. The addition of both anti-crack diagonal bars and expansion joints has an anti-crack effect, but the effect of adding expansion joints is better.

RESUMO

Tetanurae is a special group of theropod dinosaurs that originated by the late Early Jurassic. It includes several early-diverging groups of generally large-bodied predators (megalosauroids, allosauroids, tyrannosauroid coelurosaurs) as well as morphologically disparate small-bodied coelurosaurs, including birds. Aspects of the evolutionary history of tetanurans remain contested, including the topology of their deep phylogenetic divergences (among Megalosauroidea, Allosauroidea and Coelurosauria). We report a new theropod, Yunyangosaurus puanensis gen. et sp. nov., based on a fragmentary specimen recovered from the Middle Jurassic Xintiangou Formation of Chongqing, southwestern China. It shares several features uniquely with some megalosauroids (the clade of megalosaurids + spinosaurids + piatnitzkysaurids), such as prominent rims around the anterior articular surfaces of cervical centra and bifurcated anterior dorsal neural spines (present in piatnitzkysaurids). Nevertheless, it also shows several features that are rare or absent among megalosauroids and more crownward tetanurans, including prominent spinopostyzgopophyseal laminae (also present in non-tetanurans and metriacanthosaurid allosauroids), flat anterior articular surfaces of the cervical centra (also present in piatnitzkysaurids and some earlier-diverging tetanurans), and the presence of a posterior pneumatic foramen or fossa (absent in most tetanurans, but sporadically present in some cervical vertebrae of piatnitzkysaurids). Yunyangosaurus therefore presents a combination of derived and apparently primitive character states that are not seen in other theropods. This suggests that patterns of morphological evolution associated with deep tetanuran divergences were more complex than currently recognized, with implications for understanding the character evolution in theropods.

A very long neck is a characteristic feature of most sauropod dinosaurs. In the genus Mamenchisaurus, neck length is extreme, greater than 40 percent of total body length. However, the posture, utilization, and selective advantage of very long necks in sauropods are still controversial. An excellently preserved skeleton of Mamenchisaurus youngi, including a complete neck, provides an opportunity for a comprehensive biomechanical analysis of neck posture and mobility. The biomechanical evidence indicates that Mamenchisaurus youngi had a nearly straight, near horizontal neck posture and browsed at low or medium heights. The results differ from the findings for some other sauropod species, like Euhelopus, Diplodocus, and Giraffatitan (Brachiosaurus) that had been analyzed in previous studies with similar methods. The selective advantage of extreme neck length in sauropods is likely advantageous for different feeding strategies.
