RESUMO
This paper reports the results of using autogenous, allogeneic, and xenogeneic bone grafts in 176 patients with maxillofacial diseases. In all, the number of complications did not exceed 5 percent. The allogeneic and xenogeneic grafts were used in the form of small chips of bone. They formed connecting and filler elements for small losses of bones without breaking the continuity of their union. In this group, the number of complications was in the region of 2.5 percent.
