RESUMO
Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, retrospectivo de corte transversal donde se recoge la problemática que existe en el Consejo Popular del área de salud Consultorio Médico de Familia No. 9 de la Policlínica 1 docente universitaria Francisca Rivero Arocha del municipio Manzanillo, provincia Granma en cuanto a la atención integral del adulto mayor por el equipo multidisciplinario de atención gerontológico y a partir de ahí se propone una estrategia que permite perfeccionar la atención y seguimiento de este grupo de edad desde el contexto institucional y familiar. El problema de la investigación está determinado en: ¿cómo perfeccionar la atención integral al adulto mayor en el Consejo Popular No. 6 por el equipo multidisciplinario de atención gerontológico? Para lograr los objetivos propuestos se analizaron las estadísticas del área de salud del programa del adulto mayor. Los datos obtenidos se procesaron de forma computarizada y se presentaron en tablas para su mejor comprensión, se trabajó con número y porcentaje como medida resumen. El programa del adulto mayor evidenciará sin dudas mejores resultados a partir de la efectividad de las acciones de la estrategia propuesta, lo cual se materializa en el perfeccionamiento del funcionamiento del equipo multidisciplinario de atención gerontológico(AU)
A descriptive, retrospective, cross-sectional study was carried out to collect the problems that exist in the popular council of the health area of the doctor's medical clinic no. 9 of the 1 university teaching clinic Francisca Rivero Arocha, Manzanillo municipality, Granma province. Comprehensive care for the elderly by the multidisciplinary team of gerontological care and from there a strategy is proposed that allows improving the care and monitoring of this age group from the institutional and family context. The problem of the investigation is determined in: how to perfect the integral attention to the greater adult in the popular council no. 6 by the multidisciplinary team of gerontological attention? To achieve the proposed objectives, the health area statistics of the elderly program were analyzed. The data obtained were processed in a computerized way and presented in tables for better understanding, we worked with number and percentage as a summary measure. The program of the older adult will undoubtedly show better results from the effectiveness of the actions of the proposed strategy, which is materialized in the improvement of the operation of the multidisciplinary team of gerontological care(EU)
