[Comparative assessment of conservative treatment of chronic prostatitis with application of complex unit andro-gin]. / Sravnitel'naia otsenka konservativnogo lecheniia khronicheskogo prostatita s primeneniem apparatno-programmnogo kompleksa "Andro-gin".

The Andro-Gin unit used in combined treatment of 78 patients with chronic prostatitis (CP) and 16 women with chronic interstitial cystitis with inflammation in the internal genitalia (56.5% of the patients had sexual and spermatogenesis disorders) employed effects of simultaneous exposure to local magnetic field, electrostimulation of the small pelvis organs and prostate with introduction of contact rectal electrode, neurostimulation of pathogenic zones, low-intensity laser and light-diode radiator and color impulse therapy. Control group consisted of 85 patients with CP who received conventional physiotherapy. The comparative analysis has shown high efficiency of the unit Andro-Gin in the treatment of CP and its complications. Laboratory and clinical convalescence and persistent remission was registered in 98% of the patients of the study group. Combined treatment using Andro-Gin is twice more effective than other treatments.

[Structural organization of double-stranded RNA from killer yeasts Saccharomyces cerevisiae by the thermal denaturation method]. / Izuchenie strukturnoi organizatsii dvuspiral'noi RNK killernykh drozhzhei Sacharomyces cerevisiae metodom termicheskoi denaturatsii.

The thermal denaturation method for studying the structural organization of double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) from virus-like particles of killer yeasts Saccharomyces cerevisiae was used. High resolution derivative denaturation profiles of total dsRNA and its L- and M-types were obtained. Comparative analysis of these data with those on phage DNA denaturation demonstrated that the processes of denaturation of dsRNA and phage DNA were identical in quality. Increase of thermostability, interval of thermal denaturation and width of local helix-to-coil transitions in dsRNA as compared with phage DNA are caused by the differences of corresponding thermodynamic parameters. Derivative denaturation profiles of L- and M-types of yeasts dsRNA were shown to have certain identical local transitions. Low melting transition, consisting of three local thermalites, is due to the denaturation of AU-rich region (about 200 n.b.p.) in M-dsRNA.

Methods for isolation and purification of yeast double spiral RNA (dsRNA) are described. The most simple method includes reprecipitation of dsRNA in solutions of lithium chloride and its interphase distribution in the system of chloroform: isoamilic alcohol: water. Preparations with the content (w/w) of dsRNA from 30 to 90 per cent were obtained. They possess a high interferon-inducing activity and an antiviral effect on the experimental infection caused by the virus of mouse encephalomyocarditis.

[Automation of the determination of cardiac output by means of 4-electrode rheocardiography]. / Avtomatizatsiia opredeleniia serdechnogo vybrosa metodom chetyrekhélektrodnoi reokardiografii.

A method of cardiac output determination is described, based on automatic processing of the differential rheogram and arterial pressure traces, by a computer algorithm. All variable parameters of the rated formula are defined automatically. The method provides highly precise and rapid definition of the cardiac output.
