RESUMO

A heterogeneous biocatalyst containing a complex of chitinolytic enzymes isolated from the culture medium of bacteria Clostridium paraputrificum on the surface of macroporous monolithic minidisc was obtained. The complex of chitinolytic enzymes was immobilized on the polymer matrix using a multistep method involving the introduction of an intermediate macromolecular spacer. The endochitinase and N-acetylglucosaminidase activity of the heterogeneous biocatalyst was studied.

RESUMO

Immobilized enzyme reactors (IMERs) produced by the covalent attachment of ribonuclease A to macroporous methacrylate-based monolithic supports using different experimental approaches are discussed and compared. Enzyme immobilization was carried out by direct covalent binding, as well as through attachment via a polymer spacer. The kinetic properties of an IMER operating in either recirculation mode or zonal elution mode were studied. Additionally, the effect of flow rate on the bioconversion efficiency of each IMER sample was examined.

RESUMO

The effect of different modes of alpha-chymotrypsin attachment to the surface of methacrylate-based ultrashort monolithic minicolumns on enzyme activity has been studied. The immobilization of protease was carried out via direct covalent binding of chymotrypsin, as well as via its attachment through small and polymer spacers. It was established that the lowest enzyme activity against N-benzoyl-l-tyrosine ethyl ester was found for bioreactor obtained via direct attachment of chymotrypsin to the surface of GMA-EDMA minidisks, whereas the highest parameter close to that determined for dissolved enzyme was found in the case of bioreactor prepared by the introduction of copolymer of 2-deoxy-N-methacryloylamido-d-glucose with N-vinylpyrrolidone and acrolein as a long and flexible polymer spacer. Additionally, the effect of flow rate of substrate recirculation on bioconversion efficiency was examined. Independently on immobilization method, the increase of flow rate led to the raise of biocatalytic efficiency.

RESUMO

This research presents the results of using transcranial micropolarization technique (TCMP) developed in the Human Brain Institute, Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, in 17 children, aged from 3 to 6 years, with the ICD-10 diagnosis of autism (F84.0). Included in the complex therapy, TCMP allowed to increase significantly the process of formation of higher mental functions and development of communicative skills, mostly due to the substantial improvement of understanding of addressed speech. The positive dynamics of learning capabilities was based on increasing of regulating function of adult's speech with the corresponding growth of adequate behavior of the child at home, studies and public places.

RESUMO

The efficacy of a method of combined treatment, developed by ourselves, using transcranial micropolarization in patients with delayed development of speech and general mental development, was studied in 30 children aged 4-6 years. High therapeutic effects were seen with this method in 60-80% of children, with accelerated development of communicative behavior and formation of speech-motor functions, along with increases in the stability of attention and improvements in the processes of perception and the productivity of cognitive activity.

RESUMO

Efficiency of combined therapy with the use of transcranial micropolarization developed by the authors was analyzed in 30 children, aged 4-6 years, with speech delay and general mental impairment. In 60-80% of the cases, a high therapeutic effect of the new method has been achieved due to accelerated development of communicative behavior, speech and motor functions formation, increase of attention stability and improvement of perceptive and productivity processes of cognitive activity.

RESUMO

The paper shows the informative value of a tremor signal to detect abnormalities in the formation of the neuromuscular system. Recording of the tremor signal was made with a piezoaccelerometric transducer, followed by its spectral analysis. The results of examinations of healthy children and children with various abnormalities were presented and discussed. The paper shows it possible to use spectral analysis of tremor in the development of treatment policy for children with congenital talipes.
