RESUMO
Sixty and 90 days after unilateral intranigral injection of LPS to Wistar rats (10 µg), activation of microglia, neuronal death, and formation of synuclein-positive inclusions were observed in the substantia nigra, but not in dopaminergic neurons. Astrocytes were characterized by increased expression of gliofibrillary protein GFAP, vimentin, complement protein C3, aquaporin-4, and connexin-43. At later stages, GFAP expression decreased, but the distribution of aquaporin-4 and connexin-43 remained disordered, and neuronal degeneration deteriorated. Thus, reactive changes in astrocytes after LPS administration can cause long-term disturbances of the neurogliovascular coupling. The observed functional and morphological alterations in the astroglia can be the cause of progressive disturbances in the substantia nigra.

Technologies based on the use of polymerase chain reaction, in particular IS PCR are widely used now. However, wide introduction in clinico-laboratory practice of these methods requires: increase of reliability of the accepted decisions, improvement of the image for revealing more fine distinctions of objects, increase of quality of the obtained information, automated registration of results of the analysis. The application of original digital image analysis, adapted to specificity of biomedical objects--morphodensitometry--allows to solve successfully the following tasks: to optimisze conditions of IS PCR realisation on the basis of use of quantitative opticogeometrical parameters, quantitatively and subpopulistically to characterize a degree of infected cells with viral infection, and also nucleuses of cells, that is especially actual for introduction of molecular-genetic methods in clinico diagnostic practice and, automatically to register results of the analysis. Thus, employment of morphodensitometry can be very important in genediagnostic and also gene therapy.

Acute tests on anesthetized dogs revealed stimulation of local lymphization and lymph transport following manual massage of tissues. Lymph levels of protein and lymphocytes rose.

In anesthetized dogs with an open drainage of thoracic lymph duct, the resorption of the human plasma's 131-iodine-albumin from intercellular space of the hind-limb muscles in passive movements was performed by lymphatic system alone. The resorption was due to the gradients of hydrostatic pressure and concentration, to changes in the tissue pressure and to physiological shifts of the tissues.

In acute experiments on 31 dogs, dilatation of the thoracic lymphatic duct on moderate (5--8 V) stimulation of afferents of the sciatic nerve and i. v. administration of noradrenaline (3--5 mcg/kg) was shown to be due to specific effects of excitation of the duct alpha-adrenoreceptors mainly. The alpha-adrenoreceptors seem to be represented in the thoracic duct in a much greater amount that the beta-adrenoreceptors. Stimulation of both types of the duct's adrenoreceptors leads to an increase in its capacity.
