RESUMO
Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, transversal y prospectivo relacionado con el aislamiento de estreptococo beta hemolítico grupo b, en exudado vaginal de un grupo de embarazadas atendidas en la consulta de Microbiología del Hospital Luis Aldana Palomino de Amancio; con este fin se establecieron las técnicas de diagnostico presuntivo y confirmativo para su identificación. Dicha bacteria se aisló en 11 de las grávidas investigadas, además de otros estreptococos como los no clasificables. Hubo asociación de estreptococo grupo b con hongos levaduriformes, trichomona vaginalis y Gardnerella vaginalis. La mayor positividad se en las mujeres cuya edad gestacional sobrepasaba las 33 semanas, entre las que resultaron frecuentes los partos preterminos y la ruptura prematura de membrana(AU)
It was carried out a descriptive, traverse and prospective study related with the isolation of estreptococo beta hemolítico group b, in having perspired vaginal of to group of pregnant assisted in the department of Microbiology of the Hospital Luis Aldana Palomino of Amancio; with this end the techniques settled down of I diagnose presumptive and confirmative for their identification. This bacteria was isolated in 11 of the investigated pregnant , besides other estreptococcus like those not classifiable. There was association of estreptococcus group b with mushrooms levaduriformes, trichomona vaginalis and Gardnerella vaginalis. The more positive isolation was in the women whose a gestational age surpassed the 33 weeks, among those that were frequent the childbirths preterm and the premature rupture of membrane(AU)
