[Simultaneous recording of 4 thrombocyte functional parameters]. / Odnovremennaia registratisia 4 funktsional'nykh parametrov trombotsitov.

A method is offered for simultaneous measurement of four functional parameters of platelets: aggregation, cell shaped, adenine nucleotide release and redistribution of intracellular Ca2+. Variation in intracellular Ca2+ distribution in the course of processes induced by thrombin in platelets is described.

[Changes in thrombocyte functional properties after hyperbaric exposure]. / Izmenenie funktsional'nykh svoistv trombotsitov posle giperbaricheskogo vozdeistviia.

The data are presented of the investigation of the effect of single pressure impulses on the shape and aggregation ability of platelets. The pressure impulses have been shown to lead to the activation of platelets which is not unequivocally associated with cell spherulation. It is suggested that the activating of the pressure impulses in vivo may maintain platelets in the state of activation which only slightly differs from the level of activation necessary for adhesion to an impaired site of the vascular wall.

[Determination of the probability of thrombocyte aggregation for evaluation of their functional state]. / Opredelenie veroiatnosti agregatsii trombotsitov dlia otsenki ikh funktsional'nogo sostoianiia.

Basing on an analysis of the initial area of the aggregatogram a method has been suggested for determining the probability of platelet aggregation on collision. Calculation was performed in terms of a kinetic equation of coagulation according to the Smolukhovsky's approximation method and in terms of own experimental data. Good agreement of a theoretical depiction with experimental facts indicates the efficacy of the approach suggested to the appraisal of the probability of platelet aggregation, enabling the comparison of the results obtained with different plasma specimens. In contradistinction to a routine analysis of the aggregatograms (determination of the aggregation amplitude, and the time from the onset of the maximum aggregation), the probability of aggregation is determined only from platelet function.

[Blood platelet functional state and exposure to an aggregation inducer]. / Funktsional'noe sostoianie krovianykh plastinok i vozdeistvie induktora aggregatsii.

Proceeding from experimental and literature data the authors evaluated the effect of hemodynamic factors on the process of induced changes in blood platelet function. A scheme of the process was developed, which puts together the data on the effect of local hemodynamics on the platelet functional properties. A hypothesis has been suggested on possible adhesion of native platelets to the surface of injured vessel wall without preceding activation.

[Intracellular calcium redistribution in the thrombocytes during aggregation and release reaction]. / Issledovanie pereraspredeleniia vnutrikletochnogo kal'tsiia v trombotsitakh v protsesse agregatsii i reaktsii vysvobozhdeniia.

With the aid of an original installation there was simultaneously measured aggregation, reaction of release of adenine nucleotides, and redistribution of calcium (by fluorescence of calcium-sensitive probe of chlortetracyclin) in one sample of the suspension of washed platelets of rabbit. For the first time there was found an increase in the intensity of fluorescence in the presence of ADP-induced aggregation which continued long after the platelets desaggregation. The obtained results suggest that this increase indicating the redistribution of calcium ions in cells, is associated with the refractory state of the platelets.

[Use of a laser photometer to determine blood platelet shape and aggregation in a flowing system]. / Primenenie lazernogo fotometra dlia issledovaniia formy krovianykh plastinok i ikh agregatsii v protochnoi sisteme.

The paper treats of an original device for studies with the photometric method of the platelets shape and of their aggregation and disaggregation processes in the flow. Experiments on the stenosed vessel model showed that in the presence of ADP stenosis potentiated the platelets aggregation in the rabbit platelet-rich plasma.
