RESUMO

The Indian species of Spilomena Shuckard are reviewed resulting in the description of six new species viz., S. attenboroughi Tessy, Sureshan et Binoy, S. fulvopleuris Tessy, Sureshan et Binoy, S. reticularis Tessy, Sureshan et Binoy, S. sahyadriensis Tessy, Sureshan et Girish Kumar, S. tsunekii Tessy, Sureshan et Girish Kumar, and S. tuberculata Tessy, Sureshan et Girish Kumar, all from Southern India. A key to Indian species of Spilomena is provided.

RESUMO

The genus Tzustigmus Finnamore (Crabronidae: Pemphredoninae) from India is reviewed and a modified key to the world species is provided. A new species T. sahyadriensis Tessy, Girish Kumar Sureshan sp. nov., from Kerala is described and illustrated.

RESUMO

The genus Carinostigmus Tsuneki, 1954 is reviewed from the Indian subcontinent. Two new species, viz. C. parliensis Tessy, Sureshan Girish Kumar, sp. nov. and C. nepalensis Tessy, Sureshan Girish Kumar, sp. nov. are described from India (Maharashtra and Uttarakhand) and Nepal (Bagmati Pradesh), respectively and differences from similar species are also given. A modified key to species of Carinostigmus from the Indian subcontinent is provided. Records for the other six species in the genus known from the Indian subcontinent are also provided.

RESUMO

The genus Dicranorhina Shuckard, 1840, is reviewed from the Indian subcontinent. Three new species namely D. dinesani Mawadda, Girish Kumar Sureshan sp. nov., D. georgei Mawadda, Girish Kumar Sureshan sp. nov., and D. sreeramani Mawadda, Girish Kumar Sureshan sp. nov., are described from the Southern Western Ghats of Kerala. Differences to similar species are given and a revised key to species of the Indo-Australian and Pacific regions is provided.
