RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of wrist-ankle acupuncture on the incidence of hypertension after tracheal intubation during induction of general anesthesia. METHODS: 200 patients receiving selective surgery under tracheal intubation and general anesthesia in our Hospital were selected and divided into control group and wrist-ankle acupuncture group using the random number table method, with 100 patients in each group. Sufentanil, cisatracurium besilate, remifentanil, etomidate and lidocaine hydrochloride were used for anesthesia induction, and intravenously injected according to the onset time of drugs, successively. The wrist-ankle acupuncture group was needled in bilateral upper 1, 2 and 3 areas, while the control group was treated with false acupuncture.Blood pressure and related blood biochemical indexes were measured and observed at different stages in each group. RESULT: The incidence of blood pressure exceeding 20% and 30% of basal blood pressure within 5 minutes after intubation was as follows:wrist-ankle acupuncture group 11.83% and 6.45%; control group 29.79% and 22.34%, The incidence in the study group was lower than that in the control group. Norepinephrine concentration in the wrist-ankle acupuncture group was significantly lower than that before induction (P < .05), and plasma Norepinephrine concentration in the wrist-ankle acupuncture group was significantly lower than that in the control group after intubation (P < .05). The plasma Norepinephrine concentration in the wrist-ankle acupuncture group was significantly lower than that in the control group after intubation (P < .05). CONCLUSION: wrist-ankle acupuncture can prevent hypertension after intubation during anesthesia induction. Moreover, it is safe, effective, minimally invasive. Therefore, it is easy to be popularized in clinical practice.

OBJECTIVE: To estimate the additive interaction of body mass index (BMI) and family history of hypertension (FHH) on hypertension and explore whether the interaction could be influenced by behavioural risk factors. METHODS: The cross-sectional data on 5791 participants were from the China National Health Survey in Gansu province in 2016. We assessed the additive interaction by calculating the relative excess risk due to interaction (RERI), the attributable proportion due to interaction (AP), and the synergy index (SI). RESULTS: ORs for hypertension were highest in Han (13.52, 95% CI: 9.45 to 19.34) and Yugur (13.85, 95% CI: 8.48 to 22.63) with the combination of obesity and FHH. The interaction of BMI and FHH was significant in Han people, with the RERI, AP, and SI and their 95% CIs being 2.48 (1.13 to 3.82), 0.33 (0.19 to 0.47), and 1.61 (1.26 to 2.07) for overweight and FHH and 6.32 (1.91 to 10.73), 0.47 (0.27 to 0.67), and 2.02 (1.33 to 3.07) for obesity and FHH, respectively. The interaction of BMI and FHH was not significant in Yugur people. Adjustment for behavioural risk factors had little influence on the interactions, and risks of hypertension remained increased. CONCLUSIONS: BMI and FHH were associated with hypertension, and the interaction of BMI and FHH on hypertension was significant in Han but not in Yugur people. Behavioural risk factors had little influence on the associations and interactions. The exacerbation of hypertension risks by overweight or obesity in hypertension families deserves attention in weight control and community care.

RESUMO

Due to the spunlaced effect, waste spunlaced facial puff has a high degree of fiber entanglement and an abundant three-dimensional (3D) network porous structure, which make it form a 3D carbon framework material more easily after carbonization. For the first time, the monolithic 3D carbon framework is synthesized from waste spunlaced facial puff (WCF) and used as the adsorbent for contaminants in water. The adsorption capacity of WCF for oils and organic reagents can be 34-137 times its own weight. Over five adsorption-harvesting cycles, the adsorption capacity of WCF to organic pollutants can recover up to 95% of its initial capacity. Moreover, WCF exhibits stable permeation flux and high separation efficiency in a water-heavy oil system, which is about 7714 L m-2 h-1 and higher than 99%, respectively. With a combination of waste spunlaced facial puff with monolithic 3D porous structure as a raw material, facile and green preparation process, low density, excellent hydrophobicity and lipophilicity, WCF as an adsorbent has great superiority in removal of organic pollutant solvents and environmental protection as well as other applications, such as energy storage materials, catalyst carriers, electric information, etc. Furthermore, this work would provide a new strategy for recovery use of waste spunlaced cotton materials.

RESUMO

The China National Health Survey (CNHS) is the first nationwide multi-ethnic cross-sectional interview and health examination conducted from 2012 to 2017. The survey is designed to study reference intervals for physiological constants as well as determinants of noncommunicable diseases among different ethnic populations in different areas, so that the data can be used to enhance clinical diagnosis strategies and health promotion. CNHS used a stratified, multistage cluster sampling method to obtain a sample of 53 895 people aged 20-80 years in 10 ethnic groups from 11 provinces or autonomous regions all over China. Blood samples were collected from each participant for the establishment of the China Multi-Ethnic Biobank (CMEB). CNHS collected data on demographic and socioeconomic information, lifestyle factors, anthropometric measures, laboratory tests and clinical profiles. These data provide a comprehensive resource for further study on risk factors of noncommunicable disease among different ethnic groups. RESUMO

Electrogastrography (EGG) is the cutaneous recording of the myoelectrical activity of the stomach using surface electrodes and it is more and more attractive due to its noninvasiveness. It has been used in medical research and clinical diagnosis. It is evident that with the use of this noninvasive measurements of gastric electrical activity(GEA) that we can diagnose gastric dysfunction. In this article, record, analysis, application and trend of EGG are reviewed.
