RESUMO

Persulfate-promoted radical cascade trifluoromethylthiolation of aryl acetylenes with AgSCF3 provides a simple reaction system for the synthesis of SCF3-substituted dibenzazepines or dioxodibenzothiazepines with good Z/E selectivity. The single-crystal X-ray diffraction data confirms the structures of the final products. A series of scaled-up experiments, further transformations, and radical inhibition experiments were operated in the reaction system.

RESUMO

Laser-induced microstructures have attracted significant research interest owing to their wide application potential for anti-reflective surfaces and optoelectronic devices. To elucidate the characteristics of laser-patterned microstructures, nanosecond-laser-induced micro-protrusions on amorphous silicon film surfaces were investigated via single-and multi-line irradiation experiments. For the former, the results reveal that the number of periodic micro-protrusions depends on the peak power intensity. In addition, the height and the base diameter of the micro-protrusions can be tailored by adjusting the peak power intensity and scanning distance of the laser, while increasing the peak power intensity also increases surface roughness. X-ray spectroscopy confirmed that the microstructures were mainly composed of silicon. The relationship between the formation mechanism and the size of the micro-protrusions is also discussed, with the results of this study providing valuable insights into the laser-induced microstructure formation.

RESUMO

Free radical-initiated cascade cyclization of unactivated alkenes with chloralkanes, which undergoes selective activation of the α-C(sp3)-H bond of chloralkanes, provides a protocol for the synthesis of chlorinated heterocycles or polycyclic compounds. A series of radical inhibition experiments, radical capture operations, and radical clock tests were studied in this system.

RESUMO

Although laser-produced micro-/nano-structures have been extensively studied, the effects of the initial surface conditions on the formed micro-/nano-structures have rarely been investigated. In this study, through nanosecond pulsed laser irradiation of unpolished and polished amorphous silicon films, entirely different surface characteristics were observed. The effects of laser irradiation parameters, such as repetition frequency, beam overlap ratio, and scanning velocity, on the surface characteristics were investigated, followed by the characterization of surface roughness, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and Raman spectroscopy of the irradiated surfaces. For the unpolished surface, novel micro-protrusions were generated after laser irradiation, whereas no such micro-protrusions were formed on the polished surface. The experimental results indicated that the height of the micro-protrusions could be tuned using laser irradiation parameters and that laser irradiation promoted the crystallization of the amorphous silicon film. Moreover, the formation mechanism of the micro-protrusions was linked to fluctuations of the solid-liquid interface caused by continuous laser pulse shocks at higher repetition frequencies. The findings of this study suggest important correlations between the initial surface conditions and micro-/nano-structure formation, which may enhance our fundamental understanding of the formation of micro-/nano-structures.

RESUMO

Iron salt/peroxide promoted cascade difunctionalization of unsaturated benzamides with silanes has been reported. It provides a convenient, highly selective, and efficient protocol for the synthesis of various silylated dihydroisoquinolinones and 1,3-isoquinolinediones. In particular, the present methodology only gives cyclization products in good isolated yields under the typical conditions.
