RESUMO

Generation of ROS (including free radicals) in rat platelets during physical exercises of different intensities was evaluated by the chemiluminescent method. The acute or chronic submaximal exercises increased the platelet chemiluminescence by 2.5-3.0 times. In the control, platelet activation with physiological aggregant ADP enhanced their chemiluminescence by 7.5 times. Addition of ADP to platelets isolated from animals subjected to exercise of any intensity increased chemiluminescence by 4-5 times. In a trained organism, functional reserve of the platelets is preserved during long-term physical exercise of any intensity, but is exhausted after acute physical exercise. Thus, intensive physical exercises enhanced the hemostatic potential of the blood, which is associated with the risk of thrombohemorrhagic complications, especially in acute or submaximal long-term exercises.

RESUMO

The study of seasonal changes in the state of cellular and humoral immunity in trained athletes with predominantly aerobic energy supply of muscle activity, but different different dynamics of the level of physical activity in the annual cycle has been performed. The immune status of athletes, the level of several hormones and interleukins have been established to undergo significant, regular fluctuations training--competitive load throughout the annual cycle that may affect the level of morbidity of athletes.

RESUMO

The electrophoretic mobility (EM) and acid stability of erythrocytes were investigated during incubation in a middle-molecule peptide-containing medium and in burns of different severity. It was shown, that EM of erythrocytes markedly increased after thermal injury. Major part of MMP fractions produced the same effect during in vitro incubation. MMP also changed the erythrocyte stability to acid haemolytic.

RESUMO

The effect of prolonged experimental heat exposure on morpho-functional characteristics; of animal erythrocytes involved formation of a new erythrocyte population with increased cell diameter, volume and hemoglobin content, enhanced electrophoretic velocity and resistance against various hemolytic factors.

RESUMO

The isometric contractile activity of longitudinal myometrial strips of nonpregnant rats (oestrus phase) initiated by acetylcholine, oxitocine and serotonine gradually diminished during continuous and prolonged perfusion with the biologically active substances. The decrease in the contractile activity was due to a loss of sensitivity of the myometrium cells in respect to the substances, which may be regarded as desensitization. The myometrium contractile activity was more stable during intermittent perfusion. The findings suggest that desensitization is a general biological phenomenon only developing in case of interaction of active substances with specific receptors.
