A palavra é o principal instrumento do processo psicoterápico, e a sua ausência, o silêncio, merece igual atenção. Falar sobre o silêncio em psicoterapia é um desafio, pois é uma dificuldade técnica significativa. Este trabalho percorre desde a reflexão e teoria de Freud e Winnicott até autores contemporâneos como Anne Alvarez, Ferro, Nasio, Roussilon, entre outros, para colocar em palavras o entendimento de um caso clínico silencioso. O paciente referido é um púbere e estava há um ano em atendimento sem se comunicar pelo uso da palavra
The world is the main instrument of the psychotherapeutic process, and its absence, silence, deserve equal attention. Talk about the silence in psychotherapy is a challenge as it is a significant thecnical difficulty.
