RESUMO

The article deals with the mechanisms of formation of hospital strains through immunocompromized organism analyzed using the clinically significant signs. It is established that application of galavitum with lidocaine results in the saprophitization of agents in organism hence preventing the formation of strains with "hospital" signs.

RESUMO

In experiments in 24 rabbits it was found that endoprosthesis had no negative effects on the course of the wound process and did not prevent elimination of infection from the wound. "Esfil" was used for plasty of the abdominal wall in 38 patients with incarcerated postoperative, umbilical and inguinal hernias of great and giant sizes. No patient had rejections of the synthetic material, no recurrent hernias during the first year after operation.

RESUMO

In vitro experiments on the joint cultivation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, staphylococci and in vivo experiments carried out on mice with the experimental mixed infection of a burn injury revealed the pronounced antagonistic action of P. aeruginosa with respect to staphylococci and E. coli. Under the same conditions, in the joint cultivation of P. aeruginosa and fungi of the genus Candida and in the mixed infection of a burn wound caused by the same microorganisms the mutual stimulation of multiplication and a considerable aggravation of the clinical course of a burn wound were observed. The mutual influence of associates in the mixed infection of a burn injury is manifested by an increase in the number of an antibiotic-resistance microorganisms in their populations and, so far as the macroorganism is concerned, in the aggravation of the course of the infectious process and the formation of the pronounced state of immunodeficiency.

RESUMO

A sharp decrease in the characteristics of nonspecific protection and humoral immunity in mixed infections (Pseudomonas aeruginosa + fungi of the genus Candida) in cases of burn traumas was established. Under these conditions an increase (up to 100%) in the number clones with the signs of pathogenicity and multiple medicinal resistance in the populations of infective agents, accompanied by a high death rate among the animals (up to 60%), was observed in the dynamics of the infectious process. The use of immunomodulators (tactivin and sodium nucleinate + lidocaine) contributed to the restoration of the phagocytic function of peripheral blood lymphocytes and humoral immunity, as well as to a decrease in the death rate of the animals. At the same time a considerable decrease in the number of clones with the signs of pathogenicity was observed in the populations in infective agents, isolated from the animals in the process of treatment.
