RESUMO

A model of hemorrhagic stroke (HS) (intracerebral posttraumatic hematoma) has been used to show that oral Actoinvit (substance S-1) in a daily dose of 500 mg/kg for 7 days causes a steady-state antistroke effect. At the same time the major neurological parameters became lower and the total indices of orientative-trying behavior improved 24 hours just after administration of the drug. Muscle tone, coordination of movements, and memory impairment recovered on days 7-14 after the simulation of HS. The course use of the agent prevented death from HS in 80% of the animals.

RESUMO

The authors analyze findings from a comprehensive clinical and instrumental evaluation of 59 patients presenting with duodenogastric reflux. The above findings suggest that underlying the duodenogastric reflux in those patients having surplus body mass might be hypotonia of the stomach, particularly its pyloric portion. In patients with body mass that do not deviate from physiologic norms regurgitation of bile into the stomach results from the presence of duodenal dyskinesia by hypertonic type. The results obtained suggest that patients with gastroduodenal reflux need treatment options for them to be carefully thought out. The above reflux appeared to be particularly pronounced in those patients presenting with alimentary obesity as per analysis of the gastric content. Patients with grade II obesity show more noticeable tonic disorders of the pyloric portion of the stomach.

RESUMO

The authors provide evidence on the condition of external respiration and hemodynamic shifts in the lesser and greater circulation in coronary patients with bundle-branch block; establish early objective quantitative criteria of the diagnosis of hemodynamic impairment arising in formation of the above blocks basing on ECG, phonocardiography, echocardiography findings; compare hemodynamic effects of single-dose nitrosorbide and corinfar in the above patients. Nitrosorbide and corinfar correct hemodynamics and external respiration, the former being more effective in normalizing the greater, while corinfar the lesser circulation.

RESUMO

Biological activity of ergomyogenic autoserum (EAS) is attributed to the presence of natural hormonal-neuropeptide complex. Its administration to 25 healthy volunteers and 20 patients with neurosensory hypoacusis stage I-II resulted in improvement of hearing acuity in all the subjects with normal hearing and in 75% of the patients. The autoserum usage instructions are provided.

RESUMO

Forty-five patients with duodenogastric reflux and defective gastroduodenal motor tonicity (gastroduodenal hypotonia, duodenal hypertension, gastric hypotonia in combination with duodenal hypertension) were exposed to He--Ne laser radiation. The impact was focused on the biologically active points G14, TR5, VC15, E21. The treatment resulted in normalization of the gastrointestinal pressure gradient, in discontinuance or reduction of duodenogastric reflux.

RESUMO

The data obtained revealed an increase of physiological working ability, economizing of a number of functions on the systemic level as well as morphological parameters of the vascular microregion in the course of training--adaptation to muscular loads in dogs. Apart from that, an increasing permeability for water and protein was maintained due to a beneficial readjustment of the microregion--module communications as well as to augmentation of all the parameters of the metabolic link. Desadaptation led to decreasing physiological working ability and inadequate increase in the circulation and respiration on the level of systemic parameters. On the other hand, the transcapillary exchange of water and protein was significantly decreased with a respective morphological reduction of the pericardium capillaries' metabolic surface.
