RESUMO

Activity of 50 dopamine and 67 non-dopamine neurons was studied during motivated behavioural actions in the cat brain black substance. 66% of former and 88% of latter neurons modified their activity before and during autoinitiated voluntary movements. The data obtained suggest that dopamine neurons are involved in organisation of movements in behavioural actions with cognitive components.

RESUMO

Specifics of the caudate nucleus effect upon specific and unspecific responses of the cat brain sensory-motor cortex involves an individual inhibition and temporal modulation of unspecific activity of the cortical neurons, whereas specific responses of the same cells remain the same.

RESUMO

The effects of magnetic field (frequency--8 Hz, induction--20 microI, exposition time--6 min) on movement--related activity of neocortex neurons and spontaneously firing nigral unit's of awake cats were studied. Exposure to field produced the modulation of the early neuronal activity preceding self-initiated arm movements in parietal cortex (area 5) and the increase of nigral cells firing rate.

RESUMO

The infraslow frequency electromagnetic fields were shown to affect social activity in rats: the changes induced by territorial priority and isolation were eliminated, an interaction between the motor activity and the social status appeared. The monoaminergic system of the rat brain seems to take part in physiological mechanisms of regulation of the zoosocial behaviour according to changes in ambient conditions.

RESUMO

Unit activity of 201 neurons was studies before the EMG activation in the area 5 in cats trained to perform a stereotypic movement in response to a triggering stimulus and without it. The data obtained suggest that the parietal associative cortex takes part both in triggering of different voluntary movements and in active inhibition of this process.

RESUMO

Many Earth biological processes are immediately linked with the Cosmos, its matter and energy. Cosmic rays, which as noted by V.I. Vernadsky, come from all heavenly bodies, penetrate the whole Earth and everything on it. It is solar rays that dictate the main features of the planetary organisation of the biosphere, provide the free chemical energy, and determine the development of the organic world, cycles, rhythms and the great variety of this development.

RESUMO

In experiments on 35 pigeons formation and realization was studied of alimentary motor conditioned reflexes under the influence of alternating magnetic field (AMF) with a frequency of 5 and 8 Hz and induction 5100 nTl. It has been found that under the action of such AMF, the percent of adequate responses lowers and the time of motor reaction during execution of motor alimentary conditioned reflexes and of delayed reactions increases. Realization of delayed reactions is disturbed more significantly than that of the present conditioned reflexes. AMF with a frequency of 8 Hz influences more expressively the pigeons conditioned activity in comparison with 5 Hz frequency.

RESUMO

The characteristics of formation and achievement of motor conditioned reactions were studied in seventeen dogs before and after the lesion of head or body of the caudate nucleus. It has been shown that the degree of higher nervous activity disturbances depends on the localization of injuries in the nucleus, and on the complexity of the tests used. The caudate nucleus exerts a modulating effect on the parameters of motor conditioned reflexes and takes a direct part in the structure of delayed reflexes. Lesion of the caudate nucleus body is attended with more serious disturbances of higher nervous activity than lesion of its head.
