RESUMO

Low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) is a form of ultrasound that delivered at a much lower intensity (< 3 W/cm2) than traditional ultrasound and output in the mode of pulse wave,it is typically used for therapeutic purpose in rehabilitation medicine. It has minimal thermal effects due to its low intensity and pulsed output mode, and its non-thermal effects which is normally claimed to induce therapeutic effect in tissues attracting much attentions.LIPUS have been demonstrated to have a rage of biological effects on tissues, including accelerating soft-tissue regeneration, promoting bone-fracture healing, inhibiting inflammatory responses, etc.Hopefully,LIPUS may become an effective clinical procedure for the treatment of urological diseases, such as chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS),erectile dysfunction (ED),and stress urinary incontinence (SUI).It still needs an intense effort for basic and clinical investigators to explore the biomedical applications of microenergy medicine.

RESUMO

The generally thought unstable diol compound tetrazyl gem-diol (1, H2DTMdiol·2H2O), was firstly obtained in crystalline form by culturing the filtrate for ten days after acidification and filtration of aqueous solution of potassium salt of ketone (2, [K(HDTMone)·2H2O]n). The stability of this novel gem-diol compound is found owning to the hydrogen bonds with lattice water molecules and electrophilic tetrazolyl groups. Meanwhile, the undissolved ketone (3, H2DTMone) was separated during the filtration in the process of gem-diol compound production. Surprisingly, the crystal-to-crystal perfect transition phenomena from gem-diol (1) to ketone (3) were firstly observed after heating up to 120 °C as evidenced by X-ray single crystal diffraction and powder X-ray diffraction. These results found here might open new revenues for methylene oxidation and alkanediol chemistry.

RESUMO

Objective To study the influence of sole massage on children’s analepsia from general anesthesia. Methods One hundred children in analepsia period were divided into the test group(50 cases)and the control group(50 cases). The routine nursing and monitoring during recovery stage were done in the control group.Based on the routine monitoring and nursing care as in the control group, the test group received sole massage for 10 minutes. The two groups were compared in terms of declining percentage of SpO2, rate of nausea, blood pressure,heart-rate variability, and post-analepsia dysphoria scores.Result The test group was significantly lower than the control one in all the indexes of the declining percentage of SpO2,rate of nausea, blood pressure,heart-rate variability, and post-analepsia dysphoria scores(all P<0.05).Conclusions Sole massage during children’s analepsia from general anesthesia is effective not only in lessening their declining percentage of SpO2,rate of nausea, blood pressure,heart-rate variability, and recovery dysphoria mark, but also easing their dysphoria, anxiety and fear.It may create a good condition for children to live through analepsia period successfully and safely.
