RESUMO

It has been shown that biotopes of upper respiratory system and intestine were contaminated with yeast in 44.6% of patients with leukaemia (of 112 examined ones). Their quantity exceeds the boundary value for practically healthy people and is > or = 10(2) KOE/ml in the nasal activity and fauces and < or = 10(4) KOE/g in the intestine. It was established that in patients with leucemia the mycotic complications are mainly caused by anamorphous yeast of ascomycetic affinity. Candida albicans, as well as C. glabrata, C. rugosa and Candida sp. play the leading role. The Candida genus species are mainly sensitive to amphotericine B, clotrisamol and nistatin.

RESUMO

It has been ascertained that in patients with malignant lymphomas, employment of cryopreserved cells of the cord blood (CB) is associated with a high efficiency of therapy of the underlying medical condition. With introduction of CB into the test-system of the donor's blood the T-lymphocytes radiosensitivity has been shown to be increased during the Go- and S-periods of the cell cycle, which fact should be taken account of in planning radiotherapy in oncological patients. A decrease in the level of aneuploid lymphocytes against the background of blast-transformation as a result of transfusion of CB may suggest normalization of the pool of lymphocytes.

RESUMO

On the 50 volunteers from 20 to 40 years old gomeostasis indexes of inoculating by staphylococci cleaning adsorbing anatoxini donors, before have been revactinated against tetanus, were studied. It was established, that attract of plasmaferes donors to consistent immunization by tetani and staphylococci anatoxini don't call negative alterations in their gomeostasis indexes. Results of study demonstrate, that it's possibly to attract for immunization by staphylococci anatoxini donors, before have been revactinated against tetanus.

RESUMO

Morphological-cultural and physiological-biochemical properties of 24 strains of microorganisms agents of pyo-inflammatory complications of different localization in patients with hemophilia have been studied. Microorganisms strains presented by the following species: Staphylococcus aureus, S. epidermidis, S. saprophyticus, Proteus vulgaris, P. morganii, Hafnia alvei, Serratia marcescens, have been identified. It was found out that in monoculture staphylococci prove to be the leading etiological agent (60.9%), gram-negative enterobacteria (52.2%) and bacterial associations (8.7%) occur more rarely. Special attention was paid to the study of resistance of antibiotics, circulation and pathogenicity factors that had a direct effect on the main disease severity. It was ascertained that high activity of enzymes and presence of pathogenicity factors were the peculiarities of microorganisms isolated from pyo-septic sites in patients with hemophilia. All the strains possessed multiple resistance to antibiotics.

RESUMO

Appraisal of morphological and functional features of cord blood cells involving identification of precursor cells marked with specific monoclonal antibodies makes it possible to regard cord blood as biologically valuable hemopoietic tissue with a high repopulation potential. Studies aimed at developing optimal conditions of cryopreservation allow the stocks of biologically valuable tissue to be built up.

RESUMO

Bacterial suspensions of cultures (10(7) PFU) of pathogenic Staphylococcus, vulgar Proteus and pyocyanic bacterium are resistant to 2.9-46.87 mg per disc of iodopyron in 100% of cases. Sensitivity of 32 and 100% of cultures of pyocyanic bacteria (of 25 under study) being in the suspension (10(5) PFU) to 11.71 and 23.43-9.375 mg of idopyron, respectively, in a hole has been established. To determine sensitivity of pyocyanic bacteria to iodopyron it is suggested to use the procedure of adding of 11.71 mg of the preparation (water solution) to the holes in MPA.

RESUMO

Under observation were 77 patients with burned hands. It was shown that the application of the alternating low frequency magnetic field resulted in the inhibition of the microbial flora of burn wounds, raised the sensitivity of staphylococci and blue pus bacillus to a number of reserve antibiotics, accelerated the healing of superficial burns and preparation of the wounds for autodermoplasty after deep burns. The authors recommend to use magnetotherapy in the complex treatment of burned hands.
