[Nutritional support and efficient gastroduodenal endoscopy in the treatment of acute pancreatitis and different forms of pancreonecrosis].

Nutrition support and molecular-genetic markers of the immune system at patients with complicated forms of gastric pathology. In this study presented results of surgery clinic of and oncology faculty SGMU to improve treatment patients with acute pancreatitis, and various forms of pancreonecrozis, through a balanced Threpsology support and operational gastrointestinal endoscopy.

[Effectively of combined farmaconutritive and surgical treatment of colorectal cancer].

In this article the role of immunoregulative system and cellular genome (p53 and sFAS/FASL) pathology biomarkers and oncological markers (cancer fetal antigene and CA19-9) was estimated in results of surgical treatment in complex with the various kinds of a clinical nutrition in the early postoperative period after colon cancer.

[Peculiar features of diagnosing and treatment of nodular thyroid pathology in women of childbearing age].

The authors made an analysis of results of preoperative morphological diagnosis and treatment of 239 women. It was shown that a two-needle morphological exploration allowed avoidance of non-diagnostic cytological smears and had a diagnostic advantage over traditional fine-needle aspiration biopsy. The functional activity of the thyroid gland after operation depends on the volume of the organ tissue left. The occurrence of postoperative hypothyroidism adversely affects the genital function.

[Evolution of operative approach in abdominal surgery]. / Evoliutsiia operatsionnogo dostupa v abdominal'noi khirurgii.

The severity of postoperative course after surgery of abdominal organs in the majority of cases depends rather on the length of the incision of anterior abdominal wall that on the extent of surgical manipulations directly on the viscera. Various methods of low invasive surgical procedures possess not only undeniable advantages in comparison with routine surgical technique, but also some defects. Combination of laparoscopic technique and surgical operation from mini-approach permits to avoid disadvantages characteristic to each of them. Assisted low-invasive operations could be successfully used on many organs of abdominal cavity.

[The use of ultrasonic cavitation and specific application therapy in the combined treatment of suppurative wounds]. / Primenenie ul'trazvukovoi kavitatsii i spetsificheskoi applikatsionnoi terapii v kompleksnom lechenii gnoinykh ran.

Ultrasound treatment of the surface of festered wounds and application on them of specific heteroplasma were used in 46 patients for healing of festered wounds. The method provides broadening of the indication for application of primary suture on the festered wound and decrease of the duration of hospital stay of the patients 2.2 fold.

[The correction of the disseminated intravascular coagulation syndrome in the emergency surgery of gastrointestinal tract cancer]. / Korrektsiia sindroma disseminirovannogo vnutrisosudistogo svertyvaniia krovi v neotlozhnoi khirurgii raka zheludochno-kishechnogo trakta.

The authors estimate results of correction of the hemostasis system in surgical treatment of 63 patients with complicated carcinoma of the gastro-intestinal tract. It was found that purulent peritonitis, profuse hemorrhage and obturative obstruction facilitated the development of local and generalized DIC syndrome. Methods of correction of the hemostasis system, endogenous intoxication during preoperative preparing are described. Expedience of radical operations is stressed. Complex postoperative detoxication is recommended as well as measures for the restoration of activity of the vascular-thrombocytic hemostasis and prevention of thrombus formation.

[Means for the prognosis and prevention of suppurative complications in intra-abdominal operations]. / Puti prognozirovaniia i profilaktiki gnoinykh oslozhnenii vnutribriushnykh operatsii.

The authors describe the method of assessment of the immune and alimentary status by means of determination of the level of blood albumins and amount of lymphocytes. Preoperative detection of patients requiring immunocorrection and normalization of protein metabolism allows to carry out the corresponding therapy and to reduce the amount of postoperative complications.

[Determination of the risk of acute gastrointestinal ulcer hemorrhage]. / Opredelenie riska vozniknoveniia ostrogo iazvennogo zheludochno-kishechnogo krovotecheniia.

The case records of 389 patients with ulcer disease were analyzed. The disease course was complicated by the profuse ulcer bleeding in 166 observations. There were no data available concerning hemorrhage in the anamnesis of 229 patients. As a result of statistical discriminant analysis of the bleeding and nonbleeding ulcers clinical picture peculiarities been made, 15 prognostically significant signs were chosen, they were quantitatively assessed and the risk of profuse bleeding appearance was determined. The results were confirmed in the 95% of observations.

[Use of the therapeutic starvation method in preoperative care of patients with concomitant obesity]. / Primenenie metoda lechebnogo golodaniia v predoperatsionnoi podgotovkebol'nykh s soputstvuiushchim ozhireniem.

A method of therapeutic starvation was employed in preoperative preparation of 63 surgical patients with morbid obesity. The authors managed to achieve average reduction in body weight of the patients by 10-20% with correction of concomitant diseases. Good tolerance to therapeutic starvation of the patients and increase in their resistance to the operative stress were noted.
