RESUMO

In examination of 42 patients with gastric and duodenal ulcer disease, the disorders in cellular and humoral immunity were revealed. The immunologic indices didn't normalize under the influence of the operative treatment. This is indicative of the necessity to perform the immunocorrigative therapy before the operation.

RESUMO

The state of cellular and humoral immunity in patients with gastric and duodenal ulcer disease residing at the territory contaminated with radionuclides (35 patients) and at relatively clean (42) territory, as well as in 47 virtually healthy subjects was studied. It was established that in patients residing at contaminated territory, the ulcer diseases aggravated rapidly, the complications often occurred, and the immunologic indices didn't differ from those in patients residing at relatively clean territory.

RESUMO

Extracorporeal connection of a porcine spleen (ECCPS) was used in 36 patients ranging in age from 14 to 60 years with a IIIAB-IV degree burn of from 30 to 80% of a body surface. The clinical signs of infective complications were the indication for ECCPS. The immunomodulating effect of ECCPS in burn septicotoxemia and normalizing effect on the morphofunctional state of neutrophil granulocytes without normalization of cellular immunity in toxemia was established.

RESUMO

The applicative-sorptive method of treatment was used by the authors in 57 patients ranging in age from 18 to 60 years with II-III AB degree burns of 10 to 50% of the body surface. The decrease in activity of proteolytic enzymes in the wound discharge, the increase in the activity of microbicidal systems of neutrophilic leukocytes, and formation of a phagocytic type of local resistance of an organism were noted. The epithelization of II-III A degree burn wounds accelerated, and the area of deep burn wounds reduced in patients.

RESUMO

In examination of 27 children at the acute period of the burn disease, a reduction of the factors of cellular and humoral immunity by the T-independent type with activation of autoimmune processes, which define the development of pronounced humoral reaction, was established. Three variants of the course of a wound process in children, depending on the type of cellular reactions, were distinguished.
